And if Jokic hits the 65-game minimum (that new requirement the NBA put in to stop weird voting weirdness), people will be like “Oh right, Jokic is MVP, my bad.” Even voters can’t deny a triple-double-averaging center who makes his whole team better.
If MVP were decided by who makes normal human players feel personally attacked, Jokic would win by a landslide. Sixth man*? Nah. Favorite guard? Meh. Scoring champ? Nice. But Jokic is the center of gravity for this entire league.
When it’s all said and done, Nikola Jokic isn’t just MVP worthy — he’s a once-in-a-generation orbit that no one’s gonna forget.

What makes my story so unique goes beyond my 10+ years of experience in sports media. In addition to over ten years of creating and hosting sports talk radio shows, I created the World Wide Sports Radio Network - one of the first ever digital sports radio networks - in 2012. Since the network began, we have had some of the best content in digital sports media. We have six quality shows on our network covering all sports and sports betting.
