Last night, after the game, we got treated to a historic showdown between two men who apparently forgot the game ended on the court and not in the parking lot of stupid decisions.
We had Klay “I Still Think It’s 2017” Thompson, chirping like a parrot who learned one ring speech and refuses to learn new words. And across from him stood Ja “IG Live Law Enforcement Training Bypass Program” Morant, yelling back like he’s trying to distract everyone from the fact he’s been on more suspension lists than playoff wins.
This wasn’t trash talk.
This was two malfunctioning NBA action figures arguing about who used to work before the batteries died.

Klay out here beefin’ like he’s fresh off dropping 37 in a quarter.
News flash, Klay:
That was two presidents, three iPhones, and five Kyrie conspiracies ago.
My man’s talking like the dynasty didn’t end when Draymond decided to karate-kick half the league and Jordan Poole’s soul exited his body.
Klay is that guy at a high school reunion still bragging:
“Yeah bro, but remember freshman year? I was him.”
Brother, that HIMS subscription isn’t even helping you get back to anything.
And then we got Ja.
Ja out here chirping like he isn’t one Instagram Live away from becoming the first NBA player with his own ATF-sponsored sneaker commercial.
He’s talking tough after another early playoff exit like he didn’t just clock more hours suspended than he did playing defense.

And let’s be honest:
The only thing Ja Morant has been consistent at in his career is poor decision-making and celebrity dating rumors.
Look at this matchup:
- Klay: “I got rings!”
- Ja: “I got… well… I got… you know what? Never mind.”
This wasn’t an argument.
This was a TED Talk on how to ruin your own PR in real time.
Klay reminiscing about past championships like an old man smelling a photo album.
Ja losing in the playoffs with style—like his season ended with bottle service and a “my bad.”
Together?
They form the NBA’s new comedy duo:
‘Guns & Buns: One Holds Grudges, The Other Holds Everything Except Common Sense.’
These two need to stop chirping, stop flexing, stop pretending they’re still feared in the NBA, and start focusing on something simple:
Basketball.
Just basketball.
No rings.
No blings.
No suspensions.
No Instagram Lives.
No ancient dynasty speeches.
Because right now?
They’re not rivals.
They’re not superstars.
They’re not threats.

What makes my story so unique goes beyond my 10+ years of experience in sports media. In addition to over ten years of creating and hosting sports talk radio shows, I created the World Wide Sports Radio Network - one of the first ever digital sports radio networks - in 2012. Since the network began, we have had some of the best content in digital sports media. We have six quality shows on our network covering all sports and sports betting. While we are enjoying a continued increase in growth, I feel that we can take this to a new level and a new audience with your help.
My goal since the day I started is to become the greatest and most recognizable sports radio show host in the country.
