Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, baseball fans and people on Twitter currently typing through tears… Trevor Bauer is once again out here pitching like a man who took every hot take personally and decided to answer it with violence. Legal baseball violence, of course.

5 hits.
3 runs.
2 earned.
1 walk.
15 STRIKEOUTS.
FIFTEEN.
That’s not a pitching line. That’s a Mortal Kombat finishing move.
The Long Island Ducks beat the Gastonia Ghost Peppers 6-3, but honestly the real score felt like:
Trevor Bauer: 1
Human Contact: 0
And now he’s won FOUR straight starts with a microscopic 1.00 ERA over his last 27 innings. At this point opposing hitters are walking back to the dugout looking like they just saw their credit score.
But wait — he also broke the franchise single-game strikeout record.
You know how ridiculous you have to be to break a strikeout record in professional baseball? Every pitcher dreams about that stuff. Bauer walked in like he was late for work and casually started collecting strikeouts like Pokémon cards.
Somewhere there’s still a guy on social media typing:
“Yeah but…”
BROTHER THERE IS NO “YEAH BUT” LEFT.
What are the haters supposed to say now?
“He only struck out 15 guys because the moon was in retrograde?”
“He’s only dominating because hitters keep missing the ball?”
That’s usually how pitching works, Einstein.
The funniest part is every single start now feels like an action movie sequel nobody wanted to admit would be awesome.
“Surely this can’t continue.”
Then Bauer shows up throwing gas with the facial expression of a man trying to settle a blood feud with the entire internet.
At this point the Atlantic League hitters are probably checking the rotation schedule like:
“Oh good, an off day—
WAIT BAUER AGAIN?!”
And credit to the Ghost Peppers because that is objectively the greatest baseball team name ever created. Sounds like a minor league team and a spicy chicken sandwich had a baby. But tonight they got turned into ghost particles.
The strikeouts kept piling up too. Swinging strike. Looking strike. Late swing. Broken confidence. Existential crisis. Repeat.
Some hitters were walking back to the dugout so confused they probably needed GPS directions.
Meanwhile every outing keeps making baseball look sillier for pretending this guy can’t pitch at the highest level anymore. You can dislike him, argue about him, debate him all day long — fine. But pretending the talent isn’t ridiculous is like arguing pizza is overrated while eating six slices.
This wasn’t just dominance.
This was “delete your tweets” dominance.
And somewhere tonight, Errol Marks is probably laughing watching Bauer strike out another hitter while Twitter scouts with anime profile pictures prepare their next think-piece titled:
“Why 15 strikeouts actually isn’t impressive if you ignore the 15 strikeouts.”

I’m from a small town in Long Island, NY and from a very young age I’ve always had a love for sports talk radio. Growing up, I would listen religiously to shows like Mike and the Mad Dog, Mike and Mike, and Imus in the Morning and studied what made those shows so great. I’ve made it my goal to be as influential as the hosts I grew up listening to, and with my knowledge of all major sports, enthusiastic and fearless personality, and my preparation skills, I know I can get to that level. This is an art and a medium that I’m passionate about and one that I feel can never be replaced.
What makes my story so unique goes beyond my 10+ years of experience in sports media. In addition to over ten years of creating and hosting sports talk radio shows, I created the World Wide Sports Radio Network - one of the first ever digital sports radio networks - in 2012. Since the network began, we have had some of the best content in digital sports media. We have six quality shows on our network covering all sports and sports betting. While we are enjoying a continued increase in growth, I feel that we can take this to a new level and a new audience with your help.
My goal since the day I started is to become the greatest and most recognizable sports radio show host in the country. I can guarantee that nobody in this industry currently has my passion, personality or ability to shape the future of sports broadcasting and entertainment like I do.
