Let me tell you something, ladies and gentlemen…

In all my years doing Joba & The Mouth, I’ve interviewed legends in studios, hallways, parking lots, and once—briefly—next to a guy actively seasoning chicken. But nothing, and I mean nothing, prepared me for Quentin Jammer becoming the first NFL player to treat my show like a Bluetooth call while circling a drive‑thru.

Seatbelt clicked. Engine purring. Sun visor down like he was dodging the paparazzi at a Taco Bell.

I half‑expected him to say, “Hold on, Mouth—can I get a 10‑piece nugget, extra sauce, and no jokes?”

Now you know my show. We joke. We jab. We laugh. We do comedy.

This isn’t 60 Minutes. This is Joba & The Mouth. If you come on my show expecting NPR energy, that’s like walking into a comedy club asking for a spreadsheet.

So I lob one—ONE—softball joke. A layup. A warm‑up pitch.

“Hey Quentin, what’s Antonio Cromartie up to—14 kids? 15? And how many are you the godfather of?”

Classic. Harmless. Cromartie‑approved.

And what does Jammer do?

He drops the video faster than a cornerback who just heard it’s leg day… and starts texting my PR manager like he’s disputing charges on his AmEx.

My PR guy’s phone is lighting up like NORAD:

“Jammer says this is DISRESPECTFUL.” “Jammer says he didn’t sign up for this.” “Jammer says he’s offended.”

Offended?

You played with Antonio Cromartie. You survived that locker room. But this is where the line is?

Come on, man.

And here’s where it gets wild.

Because the internet—that beautiful, messy, undefeated place—decides now is the moment to drop a greatest‑hits playlist of Quentin Jammer headlines.

One day it’s social media whispering, allegedly, that Jammer himself joked he might’ve been “tipsy” for half a season. Another day it’s him jumping into the Bijan Robinson slur conversation like he’s the new sheriff of Twitter Town.

Now listen—before the lawyers start stretching, I’m not saying any of that is gospel. I’m saying it’s what the timeline is yelling at all of us like a drunk uncle at Christmas dinner.

But when all these stories start popping up back‑to‑back‑to‑back, and then you’re furious at a radio joke about Cro’s legendary fertility?

I gotta ask:

Did Quentin Jammer lose his sense of humor… Or did it miss its exit on the freeway?

Look—I had nothing but respect for Quentin Jammer as a player. Solid career. Tough corner. Professional.

But if you’re going to: • Do an interview from your car • On a comedy show • With a host known for jokes • And then bail like the Wi‑Fi went out

Because of the tamest joke in show history?

That’s not veteran cornerback energy. That’s not lockdown coverage.

That’s “my phone battery is at 4% and humor scares me” energy.

And then—then—you text my PR manager disrespecting him?

Bah. Humbug. Merry Christmas.

Somebody get this man a chill pill for the holidays. Put it in his stocking. Right next to the keys to the drive‑thru.

So to Mr. Quentin Jammer:

All love. All respect. But next time—maybe do the interview inside a building…

And maybe—just maybe—expect a comedy show to have…

COMEDY.
