NIGHT 1 — WHERE THE CHAOS STARTED
Hornets vs Heat — “THE TRIP HEARD AROUND THE LEAGUE”
FINAL: 127–126 (OT)
Charlotte Hornets eliminate
Miami Heat
- LaMelo Ball: 30 points + game-winner
- Also LaMelo: accidentally turns into a defensive back and trips Bam Adebayo
This game had:
- Overtime
- 47 heart attacks per fan
- And one moment where everybody paused like:
“Yo… did he just do that???”
Meanwhile Miami:
- Playing hard
- Competing
- Then suddenly… boom… season over and somebody’s on the floor
MY TAKE:
Miami didn’t just lose…
They lost, got tripped, and probably checked the replay 87 times like:
“Nah… run that back… that can’t be how our season ended.”
That’s not an L.
That’s a crime scene.
Blazers vs Suns — “DENI AVDIJA TURNED INTO A 2K CREATED PLAYER”
FINAL: 114–110
Portland Trail Blazers take the 7 seed
Phoenix Suns drop into danger
- Deni Avdija: 41 POINTS
Let me repeat that for the people in the back:
DENI. AVDIJA. FORTY-ONE.
Phoenix really watched this man turn into:
“Prime Kevin Durant with WiFi lag turned off”
And did nothing about it.
MY TAKE:
The Suns defensive game plan was:
“He’ll cool off eventually.”
He did not cool off.
He turned into a microwave on HIGH and burned the whole season down.

NIGHT 2 — WHERE THE PRESSURE HIT DIFFERENT
Sixers vs Magic — “MAXEY STOLE THE KEYS TO THE FRANCHISE”
FINAL: 109–97
Philadelphia 76ers lock the 7 seed
Orlando Magic now fighting for their lives
- Tyrese Maxey: 31 points, 6 assists
→ Playing like he hacked the system and unlocked “Superstar Mode” - VJ Edgecombe: 19 & 11
→ Rebounding like his coach said “you miss one more board and you’re walking home”
Meanwhile:
- Desmond Bane: 34 points
→ Looked for help…
→ Saw his teammates building a house with all those bricks
MY TAKE:
The Sixers really said:
“Who needs Joel Embiid when we got Maxey, cardio, and good vibes?”
Now they get:
Boston Celtics
Which is basically:
“Congrats… you passed the tutorial. Here’s the final boss with cheat codes.”

Warriors vs Clippers — “STEPH SAID I’M NOT READY FOR VACATION”
FINAL: 126–121 — Golden State Warriors WIN
Los Angeles Clippers drop into elimination
- Stephen Curry doing what he does:
- Shooting from distances that should require a passport
- Ruining defensive schemes
- Making grown men question their careers
MY TAKE:
Every year people say:
“The Warriors are done.”
And every year Steph shows up like:
“Y’all must’ve forgot… AGAIN??”
At this point it’s not even surprising anymore.
It’s just disrespectful to doubt him.
FINAL PLAY-IN NIGHT — “WIN OR GO HOME NO EXCUSES, NO TEARS… OK MAYBE TEARS”
EAST FINAL — HORNETS vs MAGIC
Winner = 8 seed
Loser = early offseason podcasts
Charlotte Hornets COMPLETE THE RUN
They:
- Survived OT chaos
- Came back exhausted
- And STILL found a way to win
Meanwhile Orlando:
“We had a chance…”
Yeah… and now you have a vacation.
MY TAKE:
Charlotte didn’t win games…
They survived like:
“We don’t know how we’re alive… but we’re still here.”
That’s not a playoff team.
That’s a zombie movie.
WEST FINAL — WARRIORS vs SUNS
Season on the line.
Pressure so high you could hear coaches’ heartbeats.
Golden State Warriors finish the job
Phoenix Suns…
Pack it up.
Again.
MY TAKE:
Phoenix had:
- Talent
- Stars
- Expectations
- TWO chances
And said:
“Nah… we’re good.”
That’s not folding…
That’s a full collapse with bonus features.
FINAL RESULTS THE DAMAGE REPORT
EAST:
- 7 Seed → Philadelphia 76ers
- 8 Seed → Charlotte Hornets
WEST:
- 7 Seed → Portland Trail Blazers
- 8 Seed → Golden State Warriors
WHO GOT EXPOSED NO MERCY, NO FILTER
- Miami Heat
→ Lost and got tripped like it was a cartoon - Phoenix Suns
→ Two chances… ZERO results… generational disappointment - Orlando Magic
→ Offense disappeared faster than free food at a family party
The Play-In is the only place where:
- A random guy drops 40 and turns back into a role player by Friday
- A superstar trips somebody and still ends up the hero
- A dynasty refuses to die like it’s in a movie sequel
- And a “contender” gets eliminated so fast you gotta check if it was a simulation
Fans go from:
“WE’RE MAKING A RUN”
to:
“Fire everybody, trade everybody, delete the franchise”
in about 6 minutes.
This ain’t basketball.
This is:
chaos, pressure, bad decisions, broken hearts… and absolute entertainment.

My name is Errol Marks and I’d like to tell you why I believe I can be a major asset to your station. I’m from a small town in Long Island, NY and from a very young age I’ve always had a love for sports talk radio. Growing up, I would listen religiously to shows like Mike and the Mad Dog, Mike and Mike, and Imus in the Morning and studied what made those shows so great. I’ve made it my goal to be as influential as the hosts I grew up listening to, and with my knowledge of all major sports, enthusiastic and fearless personality, and my preparation skills, I know I can get to that level. This is an art and a medium that I’m passionate about and one that I feel can never be replaced.
What makes my story so unique goes beyond my 10+ years of experience in sports media. In addition to over ten years of creating and hosting sports talk radio shows, I created the World Wide Sports Radio Network - one of the first ever digital sports radio networks - in 2012. Since the network began, we have had some of the best content in digital sports media. We have six quality shows on our network covering all sports and sports betting. I’m currently hosting New York’s Sports Loud Mouth, and you can find that show and the rest of our great shows at https://worldwidesportsradio.com/.
Our network’s content and listenership has grown significantly year to year and, in the past year, we’ve achieved 3.6 million minutes listened on our audio stream, over 29k followers on tik tok, 500k viewed on YouTube, 1.7 million downloads on Apple Podcasts, and 906,917 plays on Spotify. While we are enjoying a continued increase in growth, I feel that we can take this to a new level and a new audience with your help.
My goal since the day I started is to become the greatest and most recognizable sports radio show host in the country. I can guarantee that nobody in this industry currently has my passion, personality or ability to shape the future of sports broadcasting and entertainment like I do. If given the opportunity, I hope to further share my story and many talents with you and your station.
