Somewhere in Las Vegas right now, there’s a whiteboard that says “Culture Change.”

Under it is a picture of Maxx Crosby with the word TRADED circled in red.

And somewhere else, probably in Baltimore, Lamar Jackson is smiling like a kid who just found out Christmas got moved to September.

Because if the rumors become reality and Crosby lands with the Baltimore Ravens for two first-round picks… the entire AFC just felt the ground shake.

And the craziest part?

You might be able to thank Tom Brady and his “wellness wizard” buddy Alex Guerrero for pushing Crosby straight out the door.

Yes. The same wellness program that once had people drinking avocado ice cream smoothies apparently just helped Baltimore build a defensive monster.

Football is funny like that.

Look, the offseason just started.

There are going to be big signings, big trades, and a lot of “experts” screaming on TV.

But let’s be honest.

Nothing this offseason might hit harder than Crosby joining Baltimore.

The Ravens already have:

  • Lamar Jackson
  • Roquan Smith
  • Kyle Hamilton
  • Justin Madubuike

Now imagine adding the NFL’s most relentless defensive psychopath on the edge.

Crosby doesn’t rush the passer.

He hunts quarterbacks like they stole his lunch money in third grade.

And Baltimore’s defense over the last two seasons?

They’ve been good.

But they’ve been missing one thing.

A closer.

Someone who ends games.

Someone who walks into the fourth quarter and says:

“Alright boys… the quarterback dies now.”

That’s Crosby.

Why the Ravens Defense Has Been Missing That Final Punch

The last two seasons for Baltimore have been strange.

Statistically good.

Emotionally frustrating.

They’ve had strong linebackers and a talented secondary, but what they’ve lacked is the same thing that defined their best teams:

A terrifying edge rusher.

Think about Ravens history.

The defense was always built around killers like:

  • Ray Lewis controlling the middle
  • Ed Reed stealing souls in the secondary
  • Terrell Suggs destroying quarterbacks off the edge

Suggs especially was the tone setter.

From 2003 through the Super Bowl years, quarterbacks knew something very important:

Suggs was coming.

And he was angry.

Since then the Ravens have had good players.

But not that weekly nightmare pass rusher.

Until now.

Maxx Crosby Is Built Different

Let’s talk about what Crosby actually is.

He’s not just productive.

He’s relentless in a way that defensive coordinators dream about.

He plays like someone told him the quarterback personally insulted his family.

Year after year he’s been one of the NFL leaders in:

  • pressures
  • sacks
  • QB hits
  • plays that make offensive tackles question their life choices

And he does it without taking plays off.

Crosby is basically the football version of a chainsaw that runs on caffeine and rage.

Which is exactly why Baltimore giving up two first-round picks might actually be a bargain.

Because draft picks are lottery tickets.

Crosby?

That’s a winning ticket already scratched.

The Raiders Situation That Pushed Him Over the Edge

Now let’s address the elephant doing yoga in the room.

The Vegas situation.

When the Las Vegas Raiders started leaning into the influence of Tom Brady and bringing in Alex Guerrero as a wellness coordinator, it raised eyebrows.

Not just outside the building.

Inside it too.

Veterans started wondering if the organization was becoming more about “TB12 lifestyle culture” than football.

Crosby is the type of player who wants one thing:

Violence on Sundays.

Not hydration seminars.

Not stretching philosophies.

Not a lecture about avocado ice cream recovery techniques.

Eventually something had to give.

And apparently what gave… was Crosby’s patience.

Let’s talk about the other side of the AFC picture for a second.

The New England Patriots reaching the Super Bowl this past season raised a lot of eyebrows.

Not because they weren’t good.

But because their schedule looked like it was designed by a Patriots fan.

It was one of the easiest AFC roads we’ve seen in years.

That road in 2026?

Not so easy.

Because now you’ve got a Baltimore team potentially adding a defensive monster that can wreck playoff games.

Look at the players available this offseason.

There are good ones.

Some big names.

But nobody changes the entire identity of a defense the way Crosby does.

Adding a receiver helps.

Adding a corner helps.

Adding a running back helps.

Adding Maxx Crosby?

That changes the entire game plan for every offense you face.

Offensive coordinators will now spend the entire week asking one question:

“How do we survive this guy?”

If you’re a Ravens fan, this is the kind of move you dream about.

You don’t usually get elite pass rushers in their prime.

Those guys rarely hit the market.

But if Vegas really let Crosby go because the building turned into a wellness retreat?

Baltimore just got a gift wrapped in silver and black paper.

And Yes… Giants Fans Know This Story Too Well

Watching a team ignore a coach begging for pass rush help sounds familiar.

Ask Tom Coughlin.

When he was with the New York Giants, he pushed for defensive line help for years.

Ownership dragged their feet.

Eventually they pushed him out and replaced him with the legendary offensive guru…

Ben McAdoo.

Or as I like to call him:

Ben McAdoo Doo Doo.

Then what did the Giants do right after?

They went and got pass rushers.

Brilliant timing.

That brilliant decision helped set the franchise back about a decade.

So yeah… Giants fans understand exactly how stupid it feels when a team ignores obvious football logic.

If the Ravens land Crosby, the message to the AFC is simple:

Baltimore is done playing nice.

They already have the MVP quarterback.

They already have the defense.

Now they might have the pass rusher that turns playoff games into horror movies for opposing quarterbacks.

And if the Raiders really let him go because the building turned into a Brady wellness spa?

That might go down as one of the funniest self-inflicted disasters in NFL history.

• Tom Brady’s wellness program in Vegas lasted five minutes and already caused a franchise-altering trade. Impressive efficiency.

• Alex Guerrero became the Raiders wellness coordinator and the first patient immediately checked himself out… Maxx Crosby.

• Crosby didn’t want meditation sessions. He wanted quarterbacks.

• Somewhere Brady is explaining that Crosby leaving is actually great for his hydration levels.

• The Raiders lost the best defensive player in the building and gained a smoothie consultant.

• Crosby wanted a pass-rush plan. Instead he got a stretching routine.

• Ravens fans just got a monster. Raiders fans got a yoga instructor.

• If Crosby wins a Super Bowl in Baltimore, Vegas is going to build a statue of Brady… in the Ravens stadium.

My name is Errol Marks and I’d like to tell you why I believe I can be a major asset to your station. I’m from a small town in Long Island, NY and from a very young age I’ve always had a love for sports talk radio. Growing up, I would listen religiously to shows like Mike and the Mad Dog, Mike and Mike, and Imus in the Morning and studied what made those shows so great. I’ve made it my goal to be as influential as the hosts I grew up listening to, and with my knowledge of all major sports, enthusiastic and fearless personality, and my preparation skills, I know I can get to that level. This is an art and a medium that I’m passionate about and one that I feel can never be replaced.

What makes my story so unique goes beyond my 10+ years of experience in sports media. In addition to over ten years of creating and hosting sports talk radio shows, I created the World Wide Sports Radio Network - one of the first ever digital sports radio networks - in 2012. Since the network began, we have had some of the best content in digital sports media. We have six quality shows on our network covering all sports and sports betting. I’m currently hosting New York’s Sports Loud Mouth, and you can find that show and the rest of our great shows at https://worldwidesportsradio.com/.

Our network’s content and listenership has grown significantly year to year and, in the past year, we’ve achieved 3.6 million minutes listened on our audio stream, over 29k followers on tik tok, 500k viewed on YouTube, 1.7 million downloads on Apple Podcasts, and 906,917 plays on Spotify. While we are enjoying a continued increase in growth, I feel that we can take this to a new level and a new audience with your help.

My goal since the day I started is to become the greatest and most recognizable sports radio show host in the country. I can guarantee that nobody in this industry currently has my passion, personality or ability to shape the future of sports broadcasting and entertainment like I do. If given the opportunity, I hope to further share my story and many talents with you and your station.
