Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, long-suffering Jets fans who age in dog years— IT. HAS. HAPPENED.
The New York Jets have finally done the thing we’ve been yelling about since Week 2, since before the leaves changed color, since before your uncle Sal threw his Zach Wilson jersey in the deep fryer:
Tyrod Taylor is IN. Justin Fields is OUT.
Congratulations.
It only took the Jets front office four months, sixteen meltdowns, three fan mutinies, a solar eclipse, and Aaron Glenn staring into space like he’s trying to decode the Matrix to make the move your grandma called back in September.
I mean seriously—I’ve seen oil tankers turn faster than this quarterback decision. You could’ve mailed this change via carrier pigeon and it would’ve arrived sooner.
But hey… Jets gonna Jet.
Tyrod walks into Florham Park like:
“Don’t worry boys, Daddy’s home.”
For the first time all season, the Jets offense looks like something that resembles the sport of football. Not great football. Not even good football. But football-adjacent, and for this franchise, that’s basically the Super Bowl.
Tyrod is out here doing magical things like:
- Throwing to receivers on purpose
- Reading defenses without breaking into a cold sweat
- Not rolling backwards 30 yards and doing a helicopter launch throw into triple coverage
Jets fans watching this man complete a 7-yard out route are acting like he just parted the Hudson River.

But on the Jets?
He looked like a kid trying to do algebra during an earthquake.
Every time he dropped back, you could practically hear the ghost of Adam Gase whispering, “Do a scramble. Trust me.”
So now he’s out. Benched. Gone.
Probably somewhere staring at the MetLife turf like it owes him money.
Do you realize the Jets waited so long to make this move that:
- The NFL season is basically over
- Half the AFC is eliminated
- Even the Giants made a quarterback switch before us
The Giants!
The team that treats quarterbacks like disposable forks!
But no, not the Jets.
The Jets waited until the last possible moment, like a guy finally proposing because his girlfriend started packing her suitcases.
Because we’re psychos.
Because we love pain.
Because we see Tyrod complete two slants and we’re like:
“PLAYOFFS. BOOK IT.”
Jets fans don’t need hope.
We need crumbs of competence.
And right now, Tyrod Taylor is the whole bakery.

IT AIN’T FIXING EVERYTHING, BUT AT LEAST YOU FEEL A BREEZE.
Tyrod gives the Jets clarity. Stability. Direction.
And most importantly…
the illusion that we actually know what we’re doing.
So buckle up.
It’s Tyrod Time.
A little late. A little chaotic. A little Jets-y.
But hey, in this franchise, “better late than never” might as well be the team slogan.

My name is Errol Marks and I’d like to tell you why I believe I can be a major asset to your station. I’m from a small town in Long Island, NY and from a very young age I’ve always had a love for sports talk radio. Growing up, I would listen religiously to shows like Mike and the Mad Dog, Mike and Mike, and Imus in the Morning and studied what made those shows so great. I’ve made it my goal to be as influential as the hosts I grew up listening to, and with my knowledge of all major sports, enthusiastic and fearless personality, and my preparation skills, I know I can get to that level. This is an art and a medium that I’m passionate about and one that I feel can never be replaced.
What makes my story so unique goes beyond my 10+ years of experience in sports media. In addition to over ten years of creating and hosting sports talk radio shows, I created the World Wide Sports Radio Network - one of the first ever digital sports radio networks - in 2012. Since the network began, we have had some of the best content in digital sports media. We have six quality shows on our network covering all sports and sports betting. I’m currently hosting New York’s Sports Loud Mouth, and you can find that show and the rest of our great shows at https://worldwidesportsradio.com/.
Our network’s content and listenership has grown significantly year to year and, in the past year, we’ve achieved 3.6 million minutes listened on our audio stream, over 29k followers on tik tok, 500k viewed on YouTube, 1.7 million downloads on Apple Podcasts, and 906,917 plays on Spotify. While we are enjoying a continued increase in growth, I feel that we can take this to a new level and a new audience with your help.
My goal since the day I started is to become the greatest and most recognizable sports radio show host in the country. I can guarantee that nobody in this industry currently has my passion, personality or ability to shape the future of sports broadcasting and entertainment like I do. If given the opportunity, I hope to further share my story and many talents with you and your station.
