Breaking news out of college football’s version of “Nah fam, I left my jacket there”: Dante Moore is staying at Oregon.
Not entering the NFL Draft.
Not shaking Roger Goodell’s hand.
Not saving the New York Jets from themselves.
Instead, Moore looked at being a top-3 NFL Draft pick, stared directly into the void, checked his bank account, and said:
“Actually… quack quack.”
And just like that, the entire draft board, the New York Jets’ war room, and the Las Vegas Raiders’ group chat went into absolute meltdown mode.
Let’s break down why Moore stayed, why the Jets quietly won, why the Raiders are sprinting to the podium, and why this might be the funniest draft domino effect we’ve seen in years.
Let’s clear this up immediately:
Dante Moore did not stay because he’s scared of the NFL.
He stayed because college football is now the wild west with direct deposit.

Rumors are loud — and very believable — that Moore is bringing in around $7 million in NIL money.
That’s:

In the NFL, Moore would’ve been rich.
In college, he’s rich, comfortable, protected, and in control.
That’s not ducking competition.

The 2027 quarterback class is stacked, and now — yes — Dante Moore is part of it.

- Dante Moore (Oregon) – Now officially back in college, Moore re-enters the 2027 draft with elite traits, another full year in a high-level system, and a chance to arrive in the NFL fully polished instead of rushed. He just turned himself into a safer, smarter franchise investment.
- Arch Manning (Texas) – The name alone draws attention, but the arm talent, poise, and football IQ back it up. A future franchise quarterback in every sense.
- Nico Iamaleava (Tennessee) – A physical monster with a rocket arm and absurd upside. If development continues, scouts will be drooling.
- Julian Sayin (Alabama) – Calm, precise, and deadly efficient. The type of QB who dismantles defenses without emotion.
- Dylan Raiola (Nebraska) – Big body, cannon arm, and leadership traits that NFL teams love if his trajectory keeps climbing.
This class gives the Jets every reason to stockpile picks instead of forcing a decision now.
Moore staying:
