The New York Knicks walked into Philadelphia Friday night like they were collecting overdue rent money from an ex-roommate who swore “the check already cleared.”
Final score? Knicks 108, Sixers 94.
Series score? Knicks 3-0.
Philadelphia crowd mood? Somewhere between “funeral at Applebee’s” and “DMing Jimmy Butler to come back immediately.”
And once again, Jalen Brunson turned into the basketball version of a tax collector. You can hide. You can run. But eventually Brunson is showing up at your front door with a clipboard and 33 points.
Brunson finished with:
- 33 points
- 9 assists
- 5 rebounds
- 11-for-22 shooting
The scary part? He started the game colder than a leftover McDonald’s french fry found under your car seat.
Didn’t matter.
By the fourth quarter he looked like a man playing NBA 2K on rookie difficulty while the Sixers defenders were out there buffering like bad WiFi.
Now here’s the funniest part of the night.
Karl-Anthony Towns got into foul trouble early and Knicks fans everywhere started sweating harder than a Mets fan watching Devin Williams try to close a game.
But then… ENTER MITCH ROBINSON.
Mitchell Robinson came off the bench like a WWE surprise Royal Rumble entrant and absolutely detonated a dunk over Joel Embiid that probably caused three cheesesteaks to fall out of people’s hands simultaneously in South Philly.
Madison Square Garden fans watching from home reacted like:
“OH MY GOD SOMEONE CHECK EMBIID’S CREDIT SCORE.”
And defensively? Mitch was massive. Embiid finished with 18 points on 7-for-17 shooting and honestly looked like a guy trying to fight a bear with pool noodles.
But this game was really about the Knicks’ depth.
No OG Anunoby? No problem.
Everybody stepped up.

Mikal Bridges has basically turned into the world’s most polite assassin. The man smiles like he’s asking if you’d like extra napkins while quietly ruining your franchise hopes.
Bridges dropped 23 points while helping put Tyrese Maxey in basketball prison for most of the series. Maxey had 17 points, but every bucket looked exhausting, like he was trying to score while carrying groceries up four flights of stairs.
Then came the surprise guest nobody expected.
LANDRY SHAMET.
Yes. THAT Landry Shamet.
The same Landry Shamet many Knicks fans forgot was still employed suddenly came off the bench and started splashing threes like a man who accidentally drank Michael Jordan’s Secret Stuff from Space Jam.
Shamet scored 15 points in 26 minutes and gave the Knicks a massive spark.
At one point Philadelphia looked genuinely confused.
Like:
“Wait… THEY HAVE MORE PEOPLE?”
And honestly… this series feels over.
Historically, NBA teams that go down 3-0 basically have the survival odds of a hot dog at Joey Chestnut’s house. No team has ever come back from 3-0 in NBA playoff history.
Can Philly win one game? Sure.
But does this feel like a comeback brewing?
Absolutely not.
The Knicks look deeper. Smarter. Tougher. More connected. And Brunson right now is playing basketball like a man possessed by every angry New Yorker who ever screamed at a television during the New York Jets season.
Meanwhile the Sixers look exhausted.
Paul George scored 15 points… all in the first quarter. After that he disappeared harder than my diet plan after smelling garlic knots.
And the most painful part for Philly fans?
The Nova Knicks are doing this IN PHILADELPHIA.

Brunson. Bridges. Hart.
Villanova legends casually turning the Sixers season into a true crime documentary in front of Villanova banners hanging in the building.
That’s nasty work.
Game 4 now feels less like a playoff game and more like the final scene of a movie where the villain knows the asteroid is already coming.
Knicks fans are already smelling the Eastern Conference Finals.
And somewhere in New York, a man in a stained Brunson jersey is yelling:
“WE WANT DETROIT… OR CLEVELAND… OR THANOS… I DON’T CARE.”
Because these Knicks?
They don’t look scared of anybody right now.

My name is Errol Marks and I’d like to tell you why I believe I can be a major asset to your station. I’m from a small town in Long Island, NY and from a very young age I’ve always had a love for sports talk radio. Growing up, I would listen religiously to shows like Mike and the Mad Dog, Mike and Mike, and Imus in the Morning and studied what made those shows so great. I’ve made it my goal to be as influential as the hosts I grew up listening to, and with my knowledge of all major sports, enthusiastic and fearless personality, and my preparation skills, I know I can get to that level. This is an art and a medium that I’m passionate about and one that I feel can never be replaced.
What makes my story so unique goes beyond my 10+ years of experience in sports media. In addition to over ten years of creating and hosting sports talk radio shows, I created the World Wide Sports Radio Network - one of the first ever digital sports radio networks - in 2012. Since the network began, we have had some of the best content in digital sports media. We have six quality shows on our network covering all sports and sports betting. I’m currently hosting New York’s Sports Loud Mouth, and you can find that show and the rest of our great shows at https://worldwidesportsradio.com/.
Our network’s content and listenership has grown significantly year to year and, in the past year, we’ve achieved 3.6 million minutes listened on our audio stream, over 29k followers on tik tok, 500k viewed on YouTube, 1.7 million downloads on Apple Podcasts, and 906,917 plays on Spotify. While we are enjoying a continued increase in growth, I feel that we can take this to a new level and a new audience with your help.
My goal since the day I started is to become the greatest and most recognizable sports radio show host in the country. I can guarantee that nobody in this industry currently has my passion, personality or ability to shape the future of sports broadcasting and entertainment like I do. If given the opportunity, I hope to further share my story and many talents with you and your station.
