Listen… if you think New York sports fans are sane, you clearly haven’t lived through a week in 2025. Knicks, Jets, Giants, Yankees, Mets, Islanders, Rangers, Nets—all at the same time. It’s like juggling flaming chainsaws while riding the subway blindfolded, with a raccoon throwing hot dogs at your face. Somehow… somehow, we still show up.
Knicks. So far, the Knicks have been up, down, sideways, and occasionally doing the worm on the parquet. Coach Brown brought structure… sort of. TW$M (team with some momentum) energy makes fans go, “Wait… is this basketball… or interpretive dance?” The Eastern Conference is weak, so yes, this team could compete for a championship if everyone stops tripping over themselves. Jalen Brunson might be league MVP material, but Karl-Anthony Towns? Right now, he’s auditioning for “How Not to Carry Your Team: The Sequel.” At least there’s hope… somewhere, under that pile of inconsistent minutes and missed free throws.
Jets. Oh, the Jets. A QB disaster so catastrophic it should be classified as a natural disaster. Quinnen Williams and Sauce Gardner were traded like Monopoly properties, and fans are left screaming into the void every Sunday. The GM might know what he’s doing, the coach might be someone to cheer for, but let’s face it—the Jets are a circus where the elephants are on fire and the clowns are crying. One thing is crystal clear: find a QB in the draft, or someone please pour gasoline on MetLife Stadium and start over.
Giants. Don’t get me started. They just fired Daboll, yet again proving New York football is basically “Groundhog Day: Sad Edition.” This organization is like a toddler in a candy store, trying to put every lollipop in their pocket at once. Fire Joe Schoen already! Clean house! Stop pretending a “future QB” will save this ship when the deck is already on fire. Seriously, the only thing consistent here is dysfunction.
Yankees. Aaron Judge finally wins a 3rd MVP! The man shows up in the playoffs like a superhero in pinstripes… and immediately gets dunked on by the Jays. Meanwhile, Hal Steinbrenner’s wallet is open for free agency, the fans are screaming, and logic has been missing in action since 2009.

Mets. David Stearns traded Nimmo, and the team hasn’t traded for Skubal—yet everyone’s wondering if he’s worth the farm and a billion dollars. Do they resign Pete or wash their hands of him? Uncle Steve might drop another billion for fun. By the end of this offseason, the Mets may have zero minor league depth. Maybe it works. Maybe it explodes. Either way, Mets management is chaos with a billionaire credit card, and possibly zero minor league depth—because why not live dangerously?
Brooklyn Nets. The Nets are like a toddler with a flamethrower in a Michelin-starred kitchen. Durant and Kyrie are gone, leaving a roster drafted by a blind raccoon with a grudge. Next season, fans will buy jerseys, take selfies, and cry into oat milk lattes while trying to figure out which city the team is even playing in. Winning here is considered a shocking plot twist—like finding out your mashed potatoes have gone sentient.
Islanders. Schaefer has turned the Islanders around. They finally look like a team that could actually make the playoffs, and Patrick Roy might actually know what he’s doing. That’s right, in the middle of this chaos, there’s a lifeboat floating smoothly for once.

Rangers. Can’t buy a win at home if Madison Square Garden was giving them free electricity, free ice, and a gold-plated Stanley Cup. Every home game is like microwaving soup in a dishwasher. Fire Drury. Yes, Drury. The human equivalent of a participation trophy that somehow manages to ruin your night anyway.
NYCFC… Soccer? The rules are confusing, the fans are philosophical, and somehow it’s still easier to understand than half of New York sports right now.
And yet… there’s beauty in the madness. Knicks momentum, Jets disasters, Judge, Uncle Steve’s billion-dollar chaos, Schaefer and Roy saving the Islanders, and the Nets’ midlife crisis in sneakers. We argue. We rage. We meme. And somehow, somehow, we love every second.
New York sports in 2025? A dumpster fire with a Broadway soundtrack, a soap opera in pinstripes and sneakers. Heartbreak, chaos, comedy… and it’s ours. Happy Thanksgiving, New York.

My name is Errol Marks and I’d like to tell you why I believe I can be a major asset to your station. I’m from a small town in Long Island, NY and from a very young age I’ve always had a love for sports talk radio. Growing up, I would listen religiously to shows like Mike and the Mad Dog, Mike and Mike, and Imus in the Morning and studied what made those shows so great. I’ve made it my goal to be as influential as the hosts I grew up listening to, and with my knowledge of all major sports, enthusiastic and fearless personality, and my preparation skills, I know I can get to that level. This is an art and a medium that I’m passionate about and one that I feel can never be replaced.
What makes my story so unique goes beyond my 10+ years of experience in sports media. In addition to over ten years of creating and hosting sports talk radio shows, I created the World Wide Sports Radio Network - one of the first ever digital sports radio networks - in 2012. Since the network began, we have had some of the best content in digital sports media. We have six quality shows on our network covering all sports and sports betting. I’m currently hosting New York’s Sports Loud Mouth, and you can find that show and the rest of our great shows at https://worldwidesportsradio.com/.
Our network’s content and listenership has grown significantly year to year and, in the past year, we’ve achieved 3.6 million minutes listened on our audio stream, over 29k followers on tik tok, 500k viewed on YouTube, 1.7 million downloads on Apple Podcasts, and 906,917 plays on Spotify. While we are enjoying a continued increase in growth, I feel that we can take this to a new level and a new audience with your help.
My goal since the day I started is to become the greatest and most recognizable sports radio show host in the country. I can guarantee that nobody in this industry currently has my passion, personality or ability to shape the future of sports broadcasting and entertainment like I do. If given the opportunity, I hope to further share my story and many talents with you and your station.
