WELCOME TO THE 2025 PLAYOFF — WHERE LOGIC CALLED IN SICK AND THE COMMITTEE NEVER SHOWED UP

Welcome, welcome, welcome…
to the most chaotic, forehead-slapping, football-induced migraine of a bracket ever assembled by a group of adults pretending they know what they’re doing.

This thing isn’t a bracket — it’s a cry for help.

Notre Dame?
Robbed so brutally that the FBI should’ve been called before the selection show even ended.

Indiana is a No. 1 seed?
Buddy, I checked my TV twice to make sure I wasn’t accidentally watching an AI deepfake.

The whole playoff looks like someone shook a snow globe filled with football teams and just said,

“Yup. That looks about right.”

But let’s get to the matchups — the ONLY matchups you wanted, the matchups that smell like chaos, fear, and unlimited comedy potential.

#9 Alabama @ #8 Oklahoma

Alabama showing up as a 9-seed with three losses is like seeing a billionaire shopping at Dollar Tree — confusing but somehow they still look confident.

Nick Saban may be gone, but the Bama energy remains:

“We deserve to be here.”
Why?
“Because we’re Alabama.”
Oh okay, nice talk guys.

Oklahoma fans are already firing up their tornado sirens just in case they need the crowd noise. This matchup is basically two car alarms yelling at each other for four hours.

#10 Miami @ #7 Texas A&M

Miami getting into the playoff is like a cat sneaking into a zoo enclosure:

Nobody knows how they got in…
nobody knows how long they’ll survive…
but it’s going to be incredible TV.

Miami fans are already planning the victory parade.
A&M fans are planning a GoFundMe for whichever coach they blame afterward.

Texas A&M’s entire identity is:

“We might win by 40.
We might lose by 70.
Don’t ask questions.”

This game should come with a surgeon general warning:

“May cause emotional whiplash, screaming, and spontaneous firing of coordinators.”

#12 James Madison @ #5 Oregon

James Madison fans packed for this trip like they’re going to Disney World.
Oregon fans packed like they’re attending their own funeral.

JMU has ZERO pressure.
They could run a double-reverse flea-flicker on the FIRST PLAY and nobody would blink.

Oregon, meanwhile, has more pressure than a soda can dropped down the stairs.

Make one mistake and 60,000 Ducks fans collectively gasp like someone unplugged the Xbox during a boss fight.

JMU is the kid who wasn’t invited to the birthday party but shows up anyway… and starts winning the party games.

#11 Tulane @ #6 Ole Miss

Tulane is polite.
Tulane is friendly.
Tulane brings snacks.

Ole Miss is the cousin who shows up late, loud, and carrying a gallon of sweet tea that definitely isn’t just sweet tea.

This game could go three ways:

  1. Tulane shocks the world
  2. Ole Miss wins by 1,000
  3. Lane Kiffin does something so unhinged it trends on TikTok for the next decade

No matter what, somebody’s marching band is going to start playing sad songs by the fourth quarter.

Notre Dame didn’t just get snubbed — they got treated like someone trying to return an item without a receipt.

“Hi, we’re 10-2 and have a strong résumé.”

And the committee said:

“Yeah… we don’t see you in the system.”

They got ghosted so hard they needed therapy and a priest.

The Irish are outside the playoff door like:

“But we did everything right!”

And the door responds:

“Sorry. Miami needed this more.”

Their entire selection method was:

  • Who won?
  • Who looked good doing it?
  • Who has a brand we recognize?
  • And who did we accidentally forget existed?

They’re picking playoff teams like they’re scrolling Netflix:

“Ehh… nah… seen it… seen it… oh look, Alabama! Let’s watch that again.”

At this point I fully expect next year’s bracket to include:

  • Two FCS teams
  • A high school power program
  • And BYU because “they just felt right.”

“LISTEN TO ME RIGHT NOW!

THIS BRACKET — THIS FLAMING DISASTER — THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT COLLEGE FOOTBALL NEEDS!

I WANT CHAOS!
I WANT TEARS!
I WANT JAMES MADISON WALKING INTO AUTZEN LIKE THEY OWN THE DAMN PLACE!

ALABAMA WITH THREE LOSSES?!
MIAMI IN THE PLAYOFF?!
TEXAS A&M PRETENDING THEY’RE STABLE?!
TULANE SHOWING UP LIKE THEY’RE HERE TO FIX YOUR WIFI?!

NOTRE DAME GOT ROBBED, MUGGED, LEFT FOR DEAD, AND THE COMMITTEE JUST KEPT WALKING!

THIS BRACKET IS PURE MAYHEM! PURE NONSENSE! PURE FOOTBALL GLORY!

AND YOU KNOW WHAT?!
I’M HERE FOR IT, BABY!
EVERY! LAST! SECOND!”

My name is Errol Marks and I’d like to tell you why I believe I can be a major asset to your station. I’m from a small town in Long Island, NY and from a very young age I’ve always had a love for sports talk radio. Growing up, I would listen religiously to shows like Mike and the Mad Dog, Mike and Mike, and Imus in the Morning and studied what made those shows so great. I’ve made it my goal to be as influential as the hosts I grew up listening to, and with my knowledge of all major sports, enthusiastic and fearless personality, and my preparation skills, I know I can get to that level. This is an art and a medium that I’m passionate about and one that I feel can never be replaced.

What makes my story so unique goes beyond my 10+ years of experience in sports media. In addition to over ten years of creating and hosting sports talk radio shows, I created the World Wide Sports Radio Network - one of the first ever digital sports radio networks - in 2012. Since the network began, we have had some of the best content in digital sports media. We have six quality shows on our network covering all sports and sports betting. I’m currently hosting New York’s Sports Loud Mouth, and you can find that show and the rest of our great shows at https://worldwidesportsradio.com/.

Our network’s content and listenership has grown significantly year to year and, in the past year, we’ve achieved 3.6 million minutes listened on our audio stream, over 29k followers on tik tok, 500k viewed on YouTube, 1.7 million downloads on Apple Podcasts, and 906,917 plays on Spotify. While we are enjoying a continued increase in growth, I feel that we can take this to a new level and a new audience with your help.

My goal since the day I started is to become the greatest and most recognizable sports radio show host in the country. I can guarantee that nobody in this industry currently has my passion, personality or ability to shape the future of sports broadcasting and entertainment like I do. If given the opportunity, I hope to further share my story and many talents with you and your station.
