Because PETR YAN didn’t show up to fight…
He showed up to do PERFORMANCE ART.
He walked into that octagon like he had a court date in the morning and needed a statement win to show the judge.
Yan wasn’t in shape.
Yan wasn’t locked in.
YAN LOOKED LIKE HE HAD BEEN PROGRAMMED BY GOD ON PATCH 2.0.
He moved like someone replaced his joints with hydraulics from a submarine.
His whole vibe said:
“Tonight, violence is a business… and I’m ahead on my quarterly projections.”
Now look — MERAB.
My guy.
The man with four lungs.
The only fighter whose cardio is sponsored by NASA.
Merab didn’t come in scared.
He didn’t come in hesitant.
He didn’t come in looking to survive.
He came in like, “If I can just grab a leg, ANY leg, even my own — we’re good.”
He bounced around so much the dude looked like a human notification alert.
And he deserves REAL credit:
He kept trying.
He kept pressing.
He kept pushing that insane Merab pace that turns most fighters into melted cheese.
But tonight… that pace hit a brick wall.
A very fast, very angry, very Russian brick wall.

YAN WAS OUT THERE DOWNLOADING MERAB IN 8K RESOLUTION.
Merab shoots — Yan sprawls like he was built by a team of Swedish engineers.
Merab swings — Yan’s like, “Cute. My turn.”
Merab rushes — Yan moves like he’s avoiding someone handing out flyers in Times Square.
And Merab NEVER quit.
He NEVER backed up.
He NEVER mentally broke.
But Yan had the aura tonight.
That “You will respect my motherland” aura.
That “I’m reclaiming my parking spot in the division” aura.
That “I googled your weaknesses and printed them out” aura.
He didn’t just win.
He DOMINATED.
He controlled everything except Merab’s unstoppable urge to bounce like a pogo stick on pre-workout.
It was the best Yan has ever looked.
Not “great.”
Not “excellent.”
Not “former champ vibes.”
I’m talking:
“If this version of Yan fought in the Coliseum, the Romans would’ve shut the whole place down.”
And Merab?
He gets FULL respect:
Only he could take that kind of beating and walk out like,
“Okay… who we fighting next week?”

And the tank won.
But the treadmill refused to turn off.
UFC 323 was unforgettable —
Petr Yan planted his flag…
Merab refused to stop running past it…
And the fans got a masterpiece.

I’m from a small town in Long Island, NY and from a very young age I’ve always had a love for sports talk radio. Growing up, I would listen religiously to shows like Mike and the Mad Dog, Mike and Mike, and Imus in the Morning and studied what made those shows so great. I’ve made it my goal to be as influential as the hosts I grew up listening to, and with my knowledge of all major sports, enthusiastic and fearless personality, and my preparation skills, I know I can get to that level. This is an art and a medium that I’m passionate about and one that I feel can never be replaced.
What makes my story so unique goes beyond my 10+ years of experience in sports media. In addition to over ten years of creating and hosting sports talk radio shows, I created the World Wide Sports Radio Network - one of the first ever digital sports radio networks - in 2012. Since the network began, we have had some of the best content in digital sports media. We have six quality shows on our network covering all sports and sports betting. Our network’s content and listenership has grown significantly year to year and, in the past year, we’ve achieved 3.6 million minutes listened on our audio stream, over 29k followers on tik tok, 500k viewed on YouTube, 1.7 million downloads on Apple Podcasts, and 906,917 plays on Spotify. While we are enjoying a continued increase in growth, I feel that we can take this to a new level and a new audience with your help.
My goal since the day I started is to become the greatest and most recognizable sports radio show host in the country. I can guarantee that nobody in this industry currently has my passion, personality or ability to shape the future of sports broadcasting and entertainment like I do.
