Let me start like this:

If you had Indiana winning the national championship undefeated, please come forward immediately so we can:

  1. Shake your hand
  2. Check your betting app
  3. Ask what year you’re actually from

Because Monday night was not a football game.
It was a fever dream sponsored by chaos.

Indiana beats Miami 27–21 in a national championship that featured punt disasters, coaching anxiety, missed kicks, and Fernando Mendoza playing quarterback like the Heisman Trophy personally dares him to do ridiculous things.

This game had more twists than a Netflix documentary.

Right out the gate, both teams came out tight.

Not “locked in” tight.
I’m talking “don’t mess this up or your name is trending” tight.

Indiana moves the ball calmly, like they’ve been here before (they absolutely have not), while Miami’s offense is warming up like they forgot kickoff was real.

Indiana scores.
Miami stalls.
Indiana scores again.

And Miami fans are already doing that thing where they stare at the field like:
“Okay… we’re fine… right?”

Halftime hits and Indiana’s leading while Miami is still buffering.

Boom.

Explosion.
House call.

Miami rips off a massive run and suddenly the game wakes up like it just got slapped. Now it’s loud. Now it’s physical. Now it’s emotional.

The Canes are flying around.
Indiana fans are sweating through hoodies.
Neutral fans are like, “Oh yeah… this is why I watch this sport.”

Momentum?
Swinging harder than a wrecking ball.

And then…

BLOCKED PUNT.

Scooped.
Scored.
Disaster.

Miami’s special teams unit turned into a true crime documentary in real time.

You could see the Miami coach’s soul briefly leave his body. Somewhere, a special teams coordinator just deleted LinkedIn.

Indiana didn’t just score — they robbed Miami in broad daylight.

Now let’s talk about Fernando Mendoza, because this man woke up and chose violence.

Fourth down?
No problem.

Another fourth down?
Why not.

And then, with the season on the line, Mendoza says:
“Cool story — I’ll do it myself.”

He runs it in like a man who knows ESPN is already warming up the graphic package.

That wasn’t a touchdown.
That was a career résumé bullet point.

Indiana up.
Miami stressed.
America entertained.

To Miami’s credit — they didn’t fold like a lawn chair.

Carson Beck kept firing.
Kept attacking.
Kept believing.

Miami scores again, cuts it to 27–21, and suddenly Indiana fans are googling “how much time is left but spiritually.”

This was no fluke run.
Miami showed up.
They swung.
They just ran into destiny wearing red and white.

Miami gets the ball one last time.

Deep throw.
Hope.
Dreams.
And then—

INTERCEPTION.

That’s it.
That’s the tweet.
That’s history.

Indiana players lose their minds.
Miami players drop to their knees.
College football fans everywhere scream:
“THIS SPORT IS INSANE.”

Indiana:

Undefeated.

National champions.

Immortal.

Miami:
Not Cinderella anymore.
This wasn’t midnight — this was a warning shot.

This game had:
✅ Chaos
✅ Drama
✅ Comedy
✅ Heartbreak
✅ And enough stress to qualify as cardio

If you didn’t enjoy this game, you probably clap when the plane lands.

Indiana didn’t just win a title.
They survived college football at its absolute weirdest.

And honestly?

That’s beautiful.

My name is Errol Marks and I’d like to tell you why I believe I can be a major asset to your station. I’m from a small town in Long Island, NY and from a very young age I’ve always had a love for sports talk radio. Growing up, I would listen religiously to shows like Mike and the Mad Dog, Mike and Mike, and Imus in the Morning and studied what made those shows so great. I’ve made it my goal to be as influential as the hosts I grew up listening to, and with my knowledge of all major sports, enthusiastic and fearless personality, and my preparation skills, I know I can get to that level. This is an art and a medium that I’m passionate about and one that I feel can never be replaced.

What makes my story so unique goes beyond my 10+ years of experience in sports media. In addition to over ten years of creating and hosting sports talk radio shows, I created the World Wide Sports Radio Network - one of the first ever digital sports radio networks - in 2012. Since the network began, we have had some of the best content in digital sports media. We have six quality shows on our network covering all sports and sports betting. I’m currently hosting New York’s Sports Loud Mouth, and you can find that show and the rest of our great shows at https://worldwidesportsradio.com/.

Our network’s content and listenership has grown significantly year to year and, in the past year, we’ve achieved 3.6 million minutes listened on our audio stream, over 29k followers on tik tok, 500k viewed on YouTube, 1.7 million downloads on Apple Podcasts, and 906,917 plays on Spotify. While we are enjoying a continued increase in growth, I feel that we can take this to a new level and a new audience with your help.

My goal since the day I started is to become the greatest and most recognizable sports radio show host in the country. I can guarantee that nobody in this industry currently has my passion, personality or ability to shape the future of sports broadcasting and entertainment like I do. If given the opportunity, I hope to further share my story and many talents with you and your station.
