Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, gamblers and degenerates filling out mock drafts in March like it’s the stock market—WELCOME TO MIAMI… where the sun is hot, the fans are sweating, and the front office is playing Madden Franchise Mode on rookie difficulty.

Because the Miami Dolphins aren’t just rebuilding… they’re doing a full-blown garage sale. This isn’t “retooling.” This is “everything must go,” half-off, no receipts, emotional damage included.

THE GREAT MIAMI YARD SALE

You ever see a team trade players and think, “Okay, smart cap move”?

Yeah… THIS AIN’T THAT.

The Dolphins are out here shipping talent like it’s Amazon Prime Day:

  • “You get a lineman!”
  • “You get a defensive starter!”
  • “EVERYBODY GETS DEAD CAP!!!”

They’re not just getting rid of players…
They’re PAYING players to LEAVE.

That’s right—Miami is basically Venmo-ing dudes like:

“Hey bro, here’s $15 million… please go succeed somewhere else.”

That’s not roster management. That’s a breakup text:

“It’s not you… it’s our cap space.”

DEAD CAP? MORE LIKE DEAD DREAMS

Let’s talk about this money situation.

Miami isn’t just clearing space—they’re lighting money on fire like it’s a yacht party in South Beach.

Dead cap hits stacking up like pancakes at IHOP:

  • Paying players NOT to play
  • Restructuring deals just to undo them
  • Kicking the can so far down the road it’s in another ZIP CODE

At this point, the Dolphins’ salary cap should come with a warning label:

“Contents may explode when hope is added.”

THE ARCH MANNING MASTER PLAN (AKA “TANK-A-PALOOZA 2027”)

Ohhhhhh now we get to it.

Because this ain’t random.
This ain’t accidental.
This is strategic losing dressed up as “long-term vision.”

Miami is looking ahead to one name:

Arch Manning

Yeah. The golden child. Football royalty. The human NIL deal. The guy whose last name alone is worth 6 wins and a primetime slot.

The Dolphins right now:

“What if… we just… weren’t good?”

Not terrible… just strategically awful.

Because in today’s NFL:

  • Being mid = worst place to live
  • Being bad = potential superstar

So Miami said:

“Why fight for 9–8 when we can go 3–14 and draft a Manning?”

That’s not tanking… that’s manifesting.

SHOULD THE NFL FIX THIS MESS?

Now here’s the real question…

Should the National Football League step in and say:

“Alright, enough of this ‘Lose For Love’ nonsense… we’re doing a lottery.”

Because right now, the system basically rewards teams for being football garbage.

Other leagues figured it out:

  • The NBA said “no more easy tanking” → lottery
  • The NHL said “stop losing on purpose” → lottery

Meanwhile the NFL is like:

“You went 2–15? Congratulations, here’s the next superstar!”

That’s like failing a test and getting upgraded to honors class.

THE OWNER: STILL CHASING DAN MARINO’S GHOST

Let’s talk about the real storyline here…

Ever since Dan Marino retired, this franchise has been speed dating quarterbacks like it’s Tinder for arm talent.

Every year:

  • “THIS is the guy!”
  • “No no no THIS is the guy!”
  • “Okay but THIS guy has a cannon!”

The owner’s strategy feels like:

“Find me a superstar… I don’t care how… just make it flashy.”

Not build a system.
Not develop talent.

Just:

“Give me the next Marino… preferably with better hair and an Instagram following.”

Let me break this down in REAL terms:

The Dolphins right now are like a guy who:

  • Quits his job
  • Sells his furniture
  • Cancels his phone plan
  • And says…

“Don’t worry… I’m gonna win the lottery next year.”

BRO… YOU DON’T EVEN HAVE A COUCH.

Here’s the truth:

If the NFL doesn’t change the draft system, teams will keep doing this.

Because why compete…
when you can strategically stink your way into greatness?

A lottery system might not fix everything, but at least it stops teams from:

  • Gutting rosters
  • Paying guys to leave
  • And turning Sundays into a three-hour tankathon

Until then?

Get ready for:

“The 2026 Miami Dolphins: Proud sponsors of the Arch Manning Sweepstakes.”

This is Miami Dolphins football right now:

Lose loud. Lose proud. Lose now… WIN MAYBE LATER.

And somewhere in the distance…

Arch Manning is warming up…
and Miami is already printing the jersey.

My name is Errol Marks and I’d like to tell you why I believe I can be a major asset to your station. I’m from a small town in Long Island, NY and from a very young age I’ve always had a love for sports talk radio. Growing up, I would listen religiously to shows like Mike and the Mad Dog, Mike and Mike, and Imus in the Morning and studied what made those shows so great. I’ve made it my goal to be as influential as the hosts I grew up listening to, and with my knowledge of all major sports, enthusiastic and fearless personality, and my preparation skills, I know I can get to that level. This is an art and a medium that I’m passionate about and one that I feel can never be replaced.

What makes my story so unique goes beyond my 10+ years of experience in sports media. In addition to over ten years of creating and hosting sports talk radio shows, I created the World Wide Sports Radio Network - one of the first ever digital sports radio networks - in 2012. Since the network began, we have had some of the best content in digital sports media. We have six quality shows on our network covering all sports and sports betting. I’m currently hosting New York’s Sports Loud Mouth, and you can find that show and the rest of our great shows at https://worldwidesportsradio.com/.

Our network’s content and listenership has grown significantly year to year and, in the past year, we’ve achieved 3.6 million minutes listened on our audio stream, over 29k followers on tik tok, 500k viewed on YouTube, 1.7 million downloads on Apple Podcasts, and 906,917 plays on Spotify. While we are enjoying a continued increase in growth, I feel that we can take this to a new level and a new audience with your help.

My goal since the day I started is to become the greatest and most recognizable sports radio show host in the country. I can guarantee that nobody in this industry currently has my passion, personality or ability to shape the future of sports broadcasting and entertainment like I do. If given the opportunity, I hope to further share my story and many talents with you and your station.
