Ladies and gentlemen… grab your popcorn, your pinstripes, and your blood pressure meds — because the hottest show coming to New York isn’t Hamilton, it’s Broadway Paul!
That’s right — Paul freakin’ Skenes, the LSU flamethrower who throws baseballs like they personally offended him, just came out and said he wants to be a New York Yankee.
And you know what? I believe him.
Because if there’s one thing more predictable than a Pirates rebuild, it’s a superstar saying, “Yeah, I’d like to play for the team that actually wins.”
This kid’s been in Pittsburgh for five minutes and already realized he’s in baseball witness protection.
Let’s get real — Paul Skenes pitching for the Pirates is like The Rock doing community theater in Iowa. The man throws 102 MPH and looks like Captain America’s stunt double, and you’ve got him performing in front of 13,000 fans and a pirate mascot that looks like he lost a fight with a blender.
In New York, though? Forget it.
That’s the show.
That’s the big stage.
Picture this: top of the first at Yankee Stadium, 45,000 maniacs screaming, “SKENES! SKENES! SKENES!” The lights hit, Sinatra’s ghost is warming up, and this dude uncorks 102 down Broadway like he’s late for curtain call.
That’s not a baseball game — that’s performance art.
You know how the Yankees do it. They don’t just play — they perform.
And “Broadway Paul”?
He’s not just throwing fastballs.
He’s throwing plot twists.
Now look, Gerrit Cole’s great — Cy Young winner, professional strikeout machine — but let’s be honest, the guy interviews like a CPA explaining tax brackets.
We need flair. We need flash. We need a guy who looks like he was born in a Gatorade commercial.
That’s Paul Skenes.
He’s young, jacked, confident, and dating Livvy freakin’ Dunne — a social media star who could turn a Pirates game into Coachella just by doing a backflip behind home plate.
You put those two in New York, and the internet explodes faster than a Mets season in June.

Forget “Bennifer.” Forget “Travis and Taylor.”
We’re talking “Paul and Pinstripes.”
Broadway Paul and Livvy Lights.
TikTok meets the Bronx Zoo — tell me that doesn’t sell out the Stadium every night.
- The Yankees Love Pretty Fireballs.
They can’t resist a big arm and a bigger spotlight. The moment Skenes says “I wanna be a Yankee,” Brian Cashman’s already designing the jersey and calling ESPN. - The Pressure? He Eats It for Breakfast.
You think Skenes cares about pressure? Please. He pitched in the College World Series with 30 scouts breathing down his neck and didn’t blink. In New York, pressure’s oxygen. He’ll thrive on it. - He’s Got the Look.
You know the Yankees’ type — they love guys who look like they could either strike you out or sell you a Rolex.
You can’t blame Skenes for wanting out. The Pirates are like baseball purgatory — you play there until a real franchise comes to save you. They’ve been rebuilding since 2004.
Paul Skenes looked around and said, “Wait, I throw 102, and our best hitter is still living off memories of Andrew McCutchen’s dreadlocks? Yeah, I’m good. Get me to the Bronx.”
And I don’t blame him. He’s a Yankee waiting to happen. Pittsburgh’s just holding the receipts.
You think the Yankees don’t already have this planned?
Come on — they’ve probably trademarked “Broadway Paul” already.
Picture it:
Billboards in Times Square.
Pinstripe jerseys flying off the shelves.
Skenes walking down 42nd Street in slow motion, wearing shades and a bomber jacket, Sinatra playing in the background.

And Livvy Dunne? She’s sitting courtside at the Garden, Yankees hat, holding a foam finger, TikTok numbers climbing like Skenes’ strikeouts.
That’s not marketing — that’s baseball meets Hollywood.
Now, let’s keep it real — the Yankees have more pitching injuries than a nursing home yoga class. You go to New York throwing 102, and by year two, you’re “shut down indefinitely” with a mysterious elbow issue.
But hey, if you’re gonna get hurt, you might as well do it in style.
Would you rather rehab in Tampa or become a legend in the Bronx?
Exactly.
So yeah, Paul Skenes wants to be a Yankee. And for once, the universe agrees.
He’s too big for Pittsburgh, too loud for small markets, and too pretty to be wasting away in a place that closes at 10 p.m.
He’s a walking Yankee headline.
He’s the lightning bolt in pinstripes we’ve been waiting for.
He’s the guy who’ll bring swagger, strikeouts, and showbiz back to the Bronx.
When that curtain finally rises — and it will — the Stadium will go dark, the spotlight will hit the mound, and the crowd will roar for the main event:
“Now pitching for your New York Yankees… BROADWAY PAUL!”

My name is Errol Marks and I’d like to tell you why I believe I can be a major asset to your station. I’m from a small town in Long Island, NY and from a very young age I’ve always had a love for sports talk radio. Growing up, I would listen religiously to shows like Mike and the Mad Dog, Mike and Mike, and Imus in the Morning and studied what made those shows so great. I’ve made it my goal to be as influential as the hosts I grew up listening to, and with my knowledge of all major sports, enthusiastic and fearless personality, and my preparation skills, I know I can get to that level. This is an art and a medium that I’m passionate about and one that I feel can never be replaced.
What makes my story so unique goes beyond my 10+ years of experience in sports media. In addition to over ten years of creating and hosting sports talk radio shows, I created the World Wide Sports Radio Network - one of the first ever digital sports radio networks - in 2012. Since the network began, we have had some of the best content in digital sports media. We have six quality shows on our network covering all sports and sports betting. I’m currently hosting New York’s Sports Loud Mouth, and you can find that show and the rest of our great shows at https://worldwidesportsradio.com/.
Our network’s content and listenership has grown significantly year to year and, in the past year, we’ve achieved 3.6 million minutes listened on our audio stream, over 29k followers on tik tok, 500k viewed on YouTube, 1.7 million downloads on Apple Podcasts, and 906,917 plays on Spotify. While we are enjoying a continued increase in growth, I feel that we can take this to a new level and a new audience with your help.
My goal since the day I started is to become the greatest and most recognizable sports radio show host in the country. I can guarantee that nobody in this industry currently has my passion, personality or ability to shape the future of sports broadcasting and entertainment like I do. If given the opportunity, I hope to further share my story and many talents with you and your station.
