Fridays WWE smackdown took place from the xfinity mobile arena in Philadelphia Pennsylvania. This show featured the Return Of Kevin Owens who had been out of action for a long period of time. Kevin Owens is next in line for Cm Punks WWE Undisputed Championship And will face him for a title opportunity. Here are some honorable mentions for the show. The Cody Rhodes/ Randy Orton segment was okay. It could have been a little longer and it felt rushed due to the time slot of the show but other than that it was an amazing segment that hopefully will lead into a great storyline. Cm punks interaction with Sami Zayn backstage was interesting as we Saw that Sami does not Like Cm Punk and told him his days as champion are numbered.
The meeting between Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn backstage during the show reignited the history and friendship that Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn have. It will be interesting to see how Sami is plugged into the feud between Owens and Cm punk as Sami has is own aspirations of becoming WWE Undisputed Champion as mentioned in the show.
Then later on we saw a promo From Shinsuke Nakamura who is making his way back to WWE and said he is not coming alone to face the MFTs tama tonga And Talla Tonga. This promo was great and definitely leaves people wondering who Nakamura will be teaming with. The matches for the show were Okay. The only one that was really good to watch was Baron Corbin VS Trick Williams. The rest felt very slow and methodical and drawn out. The promos and segments were better then the matches themselves this week.
