6/23/26 Trenton returned home to host a 3 game series against the Mahoning Valley Scrappers. The first game of this series was a wild one throughout. Elijah Foster was the starting pitcher for the Thunder, only pitching a total of 2 innings allowing 2 runs while striking out 3 hitters. Bullpen standouts for the Thunder from this game were Joey Ciancimino and Andrew Berg. Both of them combined for 5 strikeouts during 3 innings combined work. The offense was clicking the whole game, led by Cade Climie getting on base 4 times by drawing 2 walks and getting himself 2 hits as well. Trenton went on to win this game in a tiebreaker in the 10th inning by a final score of 9-8 over the Scrappers, taking the first game of a 3 game set.

6/24/26 The second game of this series for the Thunder was a well played game from both sides of the diamond. The bullpen led the way in this one for Trenton, standout players including Cole Fehrman and Jack Turner. They pitched a combined 3 innings striking out 6 in total. Cole Fehrman is now at a 1.35 ERA this season. On the offensive side, 3 players had 2 hits each and Ny’Zaiah Thompson had 3 hits with 3 RBI’s added on top of it. Nate Bennett got the win as the starting pitcher and Jack Turner got the save as Trenton defeated the Scrappers 8-5 to win another home series.

6/25/26 Trenton looks for another home sweep on the season against the Scrappers. The finale was a tight game that went 3 hours and 50 minutes long. Trenton defeated the Scrappers by a final score of 4-3 on a walkoff single by Augie Lopez in the 9th inning. Alex Kranzler was solid on the mound as the starter for Trenton. He pitched 4 innings, gave up 3 runs but struck out 7 batters along the way. The offense grinded out only 5 hits but that’s all that was needed because the pitching was tremendous the whole game. The star out of the bullpen for the Thunder was Luc Rising. He went 1.2 innings pitched and struck out 5 hitters. Trenton earned the sweep and improved to a record of 16-4 on the season.
