The Lightning have won five games in a row just before the 2026 winter Olympics. The lightning are currently the team in first place in the eastern conference in front of the Montreal Canadians and Tampa bay is second in the league behind the Colorado avalanche. Despite injuries of Brayden point, D’Astous, Nik Paul, and Anthony cirelli, the lightning have been doing everything extremely well. February 25th Tampa bay will play the Toronto maple leafs on home ice. This will be a challenge for the Lightning but if they keep playing the way they have been they should have no trouble winning the Stanley Cup playoffs if they can prove themselves more against difficult teams.

Is this the year the Lightning win the Stanley Cup? Only time will tell.
