Currently the Tampa Bay Lightning sit at 9 wins and 6 losses in the Atlantic Division. Thier last game was In sunrise Florida on 11/15/25 against the Florida panthers who are Tampas biggest rival in the NHL. So far the lightning have been performing well as a team.If they can continue to play smart defensively they will have a chance to climb the leaderboard. In the previous article it was noted the Lightning have a good chance to go to The NHL playoffs if they stay healthy. The lightning beat the Florida panthers 3-1 on the road in what was a challenging game and beat them in their first regular season game against each other. The next teams they have to play are the New Jersey devils and the Edmonton Oilers. The devils are without one of their best players Jack Hughes until January 8th which is a huge loss but they are still doing just fine and continue to stay at the top of the metropolitan division. The lightning will have Brandon Hagel, Anthony Cirelli, and Victor headman back on the roster hopefully by the time November 18th hits. They just need to keep up the pace they have been playing at and be consistent. The Lightning still have to play the panthers 3 more times. Do not count out the Florida panthers just yet. This rivalry is still heating up and the flame is not dying anytime soon. The lightnings Jack Finley got the second star of the game and Vasy got the third star of the game. Both were fantastic in their own right.
