Holy Cross Preparatory Academy hosted the South Jersey All Star Game which featured senior twins Ava and Bella Mazur from Mainland High School. South Jersey has a lot of great talent when it comes to basketball as the Mazur twins have shown that during their careers at Mainland. This was the third all star game they played in so far after Mainland’s season ended. The Mazur twins have improved every year with scoring, defense, passing and being a team leader for their teammates. Both of them can do multiple things on the court and beat you at any moment.

Bella and Ava combined for 11 points yesterday during the South Jersey All Star game as they got their teammates involved more also. It was a close game till the end as Team Destroy Black made a late run against Dominate Pink. Destroy Black cut it down to one and even took the lead but Dominate Pink never gave up and regained the lead. They eventually won 57-53 and Jahzara Green from Gloucester Catholic won MVP for Dominate Pink. During halftime their was a skills competition and three point contest between these two teams.

As Ava and Bella finish their high school careers at Mainland, they now will embark on a new journey as both of them will continue their basketball careers at West Chester University. It’s an amazing story to see them continuing playing together in college and building a new legacy. Both sisters will bring a dynamic duo to West Chester that can potentially be something special for this team and putting their names on the map. Keep an eye on Mazur twins in next few years at West Chester as they are hard workers and make their teammates better.

Congrats to Bella and Ava Mazur on a great high school career at Mainland and good luck in your college journey with West Chester.
