Week 6 was full of turmoil as the winless Jets stayed winless heading to 0-6 on the year from London and plenty of WIde receivers unfortunately got hurt during this week around the league. The Eagles also surprisingly caught their second loss of the season to the New York Giants convincingly as well as the Buffalo Bills and Josh Allen getting absolutely crushed on Monday night football. There were plenty of upsets this week and storylines so without further a do lets get into week 6 of my power rankings. We’re not stopping until the season ends!

The best part of this list still is that it will be refreshed so if you do not like where your team is placed they will probably end up higher on this list at some point during the season. I tried my best to not put teams that had a bye that high on the list versus teams that won, I wish everyone a continued great 2025-2026 NFL season. Happy Football again!

1. Bucs: The Tampa Bay Buccaneers take the number one spot this week and leapfrog the Eagles for #1 this week. The Eagles finally lost convincingly again like I said previously to the New York Giants, but in the Buccaneers case they are the most consistent team up until this point. Quarterback Baker Mayfield has been on a tear and is starting to look like a potential MVP candidate. The Buccaneers took their victory over the San Francisco 49ers this past Sunday but for them it came with a cost. Rookie Star Emeka Egbuka suffered a hamstring injury in the process of the contest and could miss some time. With the Buccaneers having injuries like star running back Bucky Irving too and now Egbuka to an already banged up wide receiver room. It’s unclear how long the Buccaneers offense will last. But with players like Mike Evans returning from injury and 2nd string running back Rachaad White, things could still go smoothly for a red hot Baker Mayfield.

2. Lions: The Detroit Lions took their loss under the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday night football and it was after the Chiefs also took a loss a week prior to the Jacksonville Jaguars. The game was on primetime in arrowhead and that’s never an easy feat. Gibbs never got in the endzone and this offense sometimes looked flat. After an illegal formation call and a touchdown called back, it never really seemed like the Lions came back from that and recovered. In this week’s list they to me seem like a top 5 team still with an explosive offense who just got stopped by one of the league’s flagship teams on a Sunday night. Those are never easy games as also this week that makes this league anyones for the taking.

3. Eagles: The Philadelphia Eagles took their second loss of the season to the New York Giants and their offense looked completely useless against the Giants defense and to be completely honest they looked terrible against Jaxson Dart. Cam Skateboo feasted on the Eagles defense as he ran for 3 touchdowns and their secondary looked pretty weak. Jalen Hurts was forced to throw yet again but this time it ended up in a loss yet again. If things don’t change quickly they could fall on this list even more but with last year’s script going similar for Philly, it is important to remember that last year the Eagles started the first month with 2 losses but then later on went to win the superbowl. Now I’m not saying that they will repeat this year but for now, since they beat the Rams they take the number 3 spot on my list.

4. Rams: The Los Angeles Rams had their turn at beating the Ravens this week and it was a little bit closer than we had thought for a little bit as the Rams made some mistakes on offense yet again that ended up in field goals but all in all they came up with the win. Currently as it stands through six weeks, Matthew Stafford leads the league in yards thrown by a quarterback and it is well deserved. The offense seems to be clicking with stars like Puka Nacua and the stellar defense that always shines. Though with star Puka Nacua’s injury he is a gametime decision for their game out of the country next weekend. Either way I expect a big game for Devante Adams as he failed to find the endzone last week.

5. Colts: The Colts Cinderella run continues as they take their fifth win, yes fifth win this year over the Arizona Cardinals. Some of the same themes stayed true as running back Jonathan Taylor shined and rookie Tight end Tyler Warren had some big catches and even caught one for a score early in the game. Daniel Jones did turn the ball over and the game was honestly close with former Colts veteran quarterback Jocoby Brissett on the opposing side. But the Colts defense ultimately came up with some big plays and they ended up with the victory. They take a commanding lead with the Jaguars not too far behind them.

6. Seahawks: The Seattle Seahawks put up another great week offensively but what needs to be talked about is how Sam Darnold is arguably top 5 in the league right now and star receiver JSN is having an outstanding year while being one of the league’s top in yardage and yards after catch. If this duo keeps it up along with their defense getting better and healthier, this seems like one of the teams to beat right now in the NFC especially with their home field advantage. I think the only thing that would stop them is bad quarterback play but it seems like Sam Darnold is far from that again as he took down the Jaguars who were a tough opponent this past Sunday.

7. Bills: The Buffalo Bills fell short yet again and falling short is an understatement. The Bills let Bijan Robinson run all over their defense and it was an uncharacteristic game for quarterback Josh Allen. James Cook failed to find the endzone and Josh Allen looked like he was doing too much. Now that they are not in first place of the AFC East it would be interesting to see if the Bills would fall even further if they get more convincing losses like the Eagles. Though that is not my prediction, I think that last year’s MVP award still should have gone to Lamar Jackson. I’m sure the Bills would look much different without Josh as well but look how different the Ravens look too. Finally to sum up this horrible week for the Bills, they at least get a BYE week this week and get to rest up and go back to the drawing board.

8. Chargers: The Chargers picked up another arrow victory over the Miami Dolphins and it was an above average showing from Justin Herbert. Now the game was now perfect as Miami managed to stay in the game but it was all worth it in the end when backup running back Kimani Vidal came through for Los Angeles with a score. Their team is still banged up with their oline and rookie star running back missing some time but they keep finding ways to win. Can the Chargers and Jim Harbaugh keep this up? Seems like Denver is catching up a little.

9. Packers: The Packers also surprisingly had a close-ish matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals and like in last week’s entry how I said the last time the Pack lost it was against Joe Facco, well this time it was against the Bengals. Wide receiver Christian Watson returned from injury and Matthew Golden continues to get more involved in this offense. I like what I saw from the defense yet again but the Bengals had hung around for more than we had thought.

10. Jags: The Jacksonville Jaguars lost their contest to the Seattle Seahawks and look to go back to the drawing board next week. Trevor Lawrence still had a decent and more solid day however, as this offense looks to keep rolling. Next week it’s a test against the Los Angeles Rams in another country as they look to get back on track instead, with a win.

11. Steelers: The Pittsburgh Steelers still remain atop of the AFC North and Aaron Rodgers is definitely feeling himself especially since the Jets currently sit at 0-6. Rodgers had another vintage performance and this time he threw scores in to DK Metcalf and had this offense looking like it was on fire. This week for the Pittsburgh Steelers they face a familiar foe in what will be a battle of the aging QBs against Joe Flacco and the Bengals on Thursday night football. They should be able to get the job done and I expect their defense to be running on all cylinders.

12. Broncos: The Denver Broncos did defeat the New York Jets and had them left with an outstanding -10 net yards on offense to end the game. The way they did that was sacking opposing quarterback Justin Fields 9 times and absolutely demolished their offensive line. Though this was a ugly win however, with the game being filled with penalties and Bo Nix and the offense creating turnovers, giving the Jets their first of the year on an early drive. The Broncos can easily bounce back and this week they will get their chance against the Giants and Jaxson Dart.

13. 49ers: The 49ers like I said previously did not look like the same team this week as they fell to the Buccaneers. Mac Jones did a poor job moving the offense but to put all the blame on him would be unfair. The 49ers offensive line let Tampa Bay feast on Mac Jones at the line of scrimmage all day and it made it harder for them to move the ball. As they gave Brock Purdy another week to rest, it will be interesting to see how they go about this situation now still.

14. Patriots: The New England Patriots came up with yet another big victory over the Saints and Drake Maye looks like the guy to do it in my opinion and I have been believing this for a while. As long as coach Vrabel keeps doing his thing and Diggs keeps his presence known on this offense going and other receivers on this offense keep showing out, this team can start to give Buffalo a run for their money for the AFC East crown. Already right?

15. Chiefs: It was classic Patrick Mahomes that we saw on Sunday night as the Chiefs took down the Detroit Lions. Patrick Mahomes ran for this 4th rushing touchdown of the year and it was something I had a feeling was coming too. This game was full of trickery as the Lions like I said previously tried to run a trick play early in the game but got called later back. Surprisingly it was a decent showing from running back Isaiah Pacheco and also wide receiver Hollywood Brown with two scores. The question with the Chiefs now lies where to rank their offense and how dangerous they are now with Rashee Rice coming back from suspension. Can this offense be even more dangerous now?

16. Falcons: The Atlanta Falcons had a great home showing as they took down the Buffalo Bills on primetime and proved the whole world wrong. Drake London the star receiver had a huge game but the talk of the town I’m sure was Bijan Robinson. Bijan finished the game with the most career scrimmage yards from a game and it was his best of his career statistically. I believe with the long run he had it ultimately changed the tone of the game and helped propel the Falcons to victory. The question is how much of a high Atlanta will have until we see them underperform again. It is still so surprising to me to see this team lose to the Panthers a couple weeks ago and get shutout. Can we expect something different?

17. Bears: The Chicago Bears like the Atlanta Falcons shocked the world on primetime when they defeated the Washington Commanders and all cylinders were firing for Quarterback Caleb Williams and this offense. The defense continues to play service-able as this Bears team keeps looking hot. The offensive linemen they acquired through free agency seem to be paying off as Caleb Williams keeps improving and getting them wins. I don’t expect the Bears to go as far as winning the whole NFC North but I think they can make a decent attempt at it perhaps.

19. Texans: Houston had a bye week this week and the following week they have a great contest against the Seahawks. If you would have asked me last year if you think this offense could keep up with the Seahawks offense I would have said yes. Unfortunately though this year Sam Darnold is one of the most efficient and that is what they will be going up against. Though I still have to credit their defense this year who have not been playing bad at all.

20. Vikings: Vikings were another team who landed on the BYE list this week as they did not play last week and got a full week of rest. Quarterback JJ McCarthy looks to get back into the swing of practice from his injury as Carson Wentz still sets sail. This week for the VIkings it is a test against a familiar NFC opponent in the Eagles who are also looking for a huge win. What an interesting matchup this will be for the defense and the former Philly quarterback in Carson Wentz.

21. Panthers: The Carolina Panthers stunned the Dallas Cowboys and this will be known as the Rico Dowdle game. He rushed for over 200 yards and clearly wanted even more. He ran in for scores as well and helped this Carolina team win. It was a big day as well for rookie sensation McMillan as he caught two touchdowns too! I was super proud of the rookie when he went in but it was a super disappointing loss for Dallas and we will get to that in a second.

22. Cowboys: Dak Prescott whether you like it or not is top 5 In passing yards in the entire league. Though their defense keeps getting torched every week and I am not sure what defensive coordinator Matt Eberflus is thinking. Luckily enough for the Cowboys though they get to see the return of CeeDee Lamb from injury and hopefully it gives Dak who is scorching hot right now some added ammunition. For Dallas this week it’s the Commanders in a divisional matchup.

23. Giants: For the Giants I knew where I ranked them last week was fair. They kicked the week off that we had with upsets and upsetted the Eagles at Metlife stadium and I know the place was rocking once again. Brain Daboll must love his new quarterback in Jaxson Dart so much as the tandem of him and runningback Cam Skateboo continue to flourish. Cam ran in for 3 scores, yes that’s right 3 scores against this Philadelphia defense and made their secondary look silly. The question is how Jaxson Dart will continue to develop but so far he has looked pretty, pretty good.

24. Dolphins: The Miami Dolphins were actually close like I said in defeating the Los Angeles Chargers as Achane yet again stole the show. They got close to winning the game but ultimately their defense let out allowing the Chargers to have a go ahead late field goal. Quarterback Tua T. after the game showed his frustration with the team and it was well warranted. The way he expressed it however calling out some of his teammates who did not show up to player only meetings may have not been the best idea. Is a coaching change on the horizon for Miami?

25. Raiders: The Las Vegas Raiders picked up a much needed victory over the Tennessee Titans and running back Ashton Jeanty continued to succeed as he ran in for a score this past Sunday. The defense did not look bad either as they pressured rookie quarterback Cam Ward all game. Wide receiver Tre Tucker also continues his nice catalog of games as it was a simple victory over the Titans in this one. Can’t pat yourself on the back too much with that one.

26. Cardinals: Someone who can pat themselves on the back however is veteran backup Quarterback Jacoby Brissett who filled in for star Kyler Murray and this week for the Cardinals we all had a feeling they would not win but like I said previously they made the contest closer than we had thought. The defense succeeded in creating turnovers against Danny Dimes but in the end it did not go in the Red Sea’s favor. This week for the Cardinals it’s a tough test against the Pack coming off a hot victory over the Bengals.

27. Bengals: Speaking of the Bengals they did not have as bad of a showing as we had thought and that is a recurring theme for this week’s rankings I guess. There was not anything super interesting for me to note about the Bengals but it was good to see Jamar Chase still involved and him scoring a touchdown for Cincinnati. The thing that gets me with this team however also is the fact that running back Chase Brown only has one touchdown on the year. I would like to see him get more involved and they have the chance to do that this Thursday against the Steelers. Though their run defense against the Bengals will be strong.

28. Saints: The Saints keep proving that they are not bottom of the barrel in the NFL and this week they played the Patriots well. Alvin Kamara still did his thing and quarterback Spencer Rattler did not do bad for yet another week. This week I feel like I just did not go in the Saints favor. But one thing is for certain because of their quarterback play yet again, I will double check twice on your schedule before you call the Saints an upright free win. They have been playing teams the past couple of weeks pretty close.

29. Browns: Whatever the Browns keep doing decides to keep not working and Gabriel suffers immensely. He got sacked left and right on the field and wide receiver Jerry Jeudy did not get much involved in a division matchup against the Steelers. Their usually stellar defense did not play well too and it seemed like they were just outcoached the whole game. I will say it again. Start Shedeur Sanders.

30. Ravens: The Ravens as I mentioned before absolutely got rocked and it is looking grim for Baltimore after I had super high hopes for them for another year yet again. This week they got demolished by Houston and made them look like the old team they were. THe backup quarterback Cooper Rush could not really get this offense going and running back Derrick Henry continues to stay quiet in games. This defense is ridiculed with injuries yet again and they now compete for a top 3 pick in the draft as it stands. When will Lamar return is the question everyone is asking.

31. Titans: The Titans now fired their coach and are looking to go in a new direction with their rookie quarterback. The team is just not efficient in scoring and their defense only seems to be good in the redzone. With another interim head coach, unless he is a wizard I can easily see the Titans having another top pick in this year’s draft yet again as it is set to be in Pittsburgh in April 2026.

32. Jets: Now the Jets managed to get the turnover their defense so desperately needed as they were the only team in the NFL to not force one up until last Sunday. But other than that it was the most disastrousful game for them. The offense got banged up more with Garret Wilson now losing time for a hamstring injury and the offense could not move the ball at all. The defense and special teams did show out however and at one point they somehow still had a chance to win this game. But to be honest they blew it despite holding Denver to one of the fewest points if not during the whole year. 0-6 really does not look pretty and this wide receiver room is now empty. Where to now?
