Week 11 had begun with the New England Patriots defending their win streak against the New York Jets and they won in easy fashion. Days later we had what was another crazy NFL Sunday and it was filled with injuries to note as well. We had the Rams gaining their supremacy over the Seahawks and the Panthers gaining their sweep over the Atlanta Falcons. Whether you like it or not these past two weeks have been the best football we have seen thus far. All that I’ve mentioned already and I haven’t even talked about how Myles Garrett is the first player since 1982 to record 12 or more sacks in 6 consecutive seasons.
The best part of this list still is that it will be refreshed so if you do not like where your team is placed they will probably end up higher on this list at some point during the season. I tried my best to not put teams that had a bye that high on the list versus teams that won, I wish everyone a continued great 2025-2026 NFL season. Happy Football once again!
1. Patriots: The New England Patriots leapfrog everyone on this list due to their pure domination for the past 8 games. They moved to 9-2 on the year and Drake Maye during primetime looked fabulous. The biggest stories for me in this game were the effectiveness of the defense and of course rookie running back Henderson having a hat trick of scores winding up in the endzone three times against the New York Jets. The Patriots allowed nearly any passing yards throughout the game and it was yet again a tough game with moving the chains for New York. This week for the Patriots they try and extend their streak to 9 which would be insane, but they have a pretty decent chance considering the Bengals are without standout wideout Jamar Chase and have not had a super strong resume this year. If the Patriots do lose however it doesn’t mean they are automatically out of the #1 spot or another team is that much more deserving. This year for NFL fans up until this point in the season, it is unclear still who is the crystal clear #1 squad. It’s up for debate and that’s what I love! Is the Patriots dynasty already back after saying what a couple year hiatus?
2. Rams: The Rams took down their divisional opponent last Sunday and all around both sides of the ball looked very clean. Matthew Stafford is still leading the way as quarterback and he yet again put another stellar type performance throwing for 2 touchdowns. He finished the day with just over 100 passing yards but for the defense as well they mainly stole the show. It was four interceptions forced against Sam Darnold and everyone knows you cannot win football games like that. Star wide receiver Puka Nacua is also still healthy and is still making a huge impact for this offense. I feel as if it is a recurring theme that at least Puka or Devante gets in the endzone and we boast how good they look with Stafford throwing them the ball. For me the Los Angeles Rams will probably not leave the top 5 for the rest of the year because of just how explosive their offense is. Who will be able to keep up?
3. Eagles: The Philadelphia Eagles used their concrete recipe for victory last week against the Detroit Lions. I feel as if the Eagles win the same way every time and when they do, sometimes you scratch your head and go “how did they do that”. Nonetheless, it was another unflashy game from Jalen Hurts but the defense did what the defense does best and that was to weaken the opposing offense and keep them off the field. Wide Receiver Devonta Smith did not have any receiving yards until the fourth quarter to put it into perspective. Saquon Barkley also had a decent day running the rock but for this offense I would like to see more involvement for everyone. Sure Jalen does not need the craziest statline every game for the Eagles to win. We have seen them win that way time and time again but for me, something has to eventually give and an offense will figure out this defense. With their super poor division however, they have a cakewalk to the playoffs and will still be a very hard team to beat.
4. Seahawks: The Seattle Seahawks had an uncharacteristic game last Sunday and they actually came up short against the Los Angeles Rams. It was a closer game than people made it out to seem but most hope was lost when Sam Darnold started to turn the ball over more and more. It was his first game with the most interceptions since his famous “im seeing ghosts” game and it was a recipe for an easy loss. I still think obviously on this defense there are pieces and for the offense I expect Jaxson Smith Njigba, one of if not the top receiver in the league right now to have a pretty easy bounce back win against the Titans this week. The only slight thing is the Titans right red zone defense and that they are home. Unlucky for the Titans though Seattle will be one of the most win hungry teams this week in week 12.
5. Lions: As I mentioned before the Detroit Lions came up with a loss against the Philadelphia Eagles. Jared Goff had a solid day throwing the rock but it seemed as if runningback Gibbs and David Montgomery could not get the run game going all night against a tough Philly defensive line. For Detroit it’s a combination of going for it on fourth downs when you don’t really need to, sure Campbell is famous for the risky play paying off but in certain situations like these it could really hurt the team rather than help it. The Lions better act quick as the NFC North gets tighter and tighter as the weeks go on. Running back Josh Jacobs is dealing with an injury possibly and the Vikings look like they are not really contending for anything at the moment. Are the Bears on the horizon for the Lions? We shall see. This week for the Lions they have what could be a walk in the park as they face the New York Giants at home.
6. Colts: The Colts earned themselves a BYE week during week 11 of the NFL season and for good reason. Like we have been mentioning in previous weeks, they have a bell cow of a running back in Jonathan Taylor who leads the league in yards rushing and in touchdowns with him having a whopping 15 total scores already. For Indy I will keep the same theme of their success relying on their Quarterback play. Seems simple but if D.J plays good, the Colts are good. With having a MVP candidate in the backfield as well that will take a whole lot of heat off of you and make things a whole lot easier and for the Colts this week they travel to Arrowhead to try and upset the Kansas City Chiefs who are super starving for a victory.
7. Broncos: The Denver Broncos completed their narrow victory over the Kansas City Chiefs and it was a great game to watch. Quarterback Bo nix propelled this offense into scoring and upsetting the Chiefs was not an easy feat. With a divisional game we knew that things would be close but for Sean Payton and Denver this is a big deal. It looks as if everyone in their division is slipping but them. The Raiders are sure not contending for anything and the likes of the Chargers and Chiefs seem to be on a decline. Can the Broncos shock everyone and take the division over both of their rivals? I think they can unless Justin Herbert makes things close and gets it together.
8. Bills: A team that did get it together was the Buffalo Bills. After losing to the Miami Dolphins and the Atlanta Falcons in the past couple weeks. Josh Allen led this offense to greatness as it was a back and forth game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The final score was 44-32 with Allen having a total of 6 touchdowns. Yes, six! The QB ran it in for 3 rushing touchdowns and it might have been the most impressive rushing performance from a quarterback we have seen this season so far. Everything clicked for Buffalo as they took down an offensive juggernaut in the Bucs and this week they start us off in week 12 facing off in Houston on Thursday night on primetime.
9. Bears: How about them Bears! They should have completed their sweep over the Minnesota Vikings but nonetheless they still got their very important win on the road. Caleb Williams is still on pace for a historic season for a Chicago Bears quarterback and they make the NFC North that much tighter. Shoutout to my cohost Adam Blake also from Insidethelockerromtv as his prediction of the Bears being better than the Packers could come into fruition. Ben Johnson clearly is the best rookie head coach as he has disciplined this defense week in and out which has been a hard thing to do for Bears head coaches of the past. This week for Chicago they look to defend their top spot in the NFC North BUT they have the week off.
10. Bucs: The Tampa Bay Buccaneers had a shootout duel against opposing quarterback Josh Allen but until maybe the mid 4th quarter the Bucs offense had an answer every time. It was yet another game without starting running back Bucky Irving but they still moved the ball. Bucs Quarterback Baker Mayfield did what he could against a Bills squad at home that were also super hungry for a win. In this scenario the Bucs need a desperate boost from their offense and they can hopefully get that back with Bucky Irving potentially returning yet again this week. For the Bucs this upcoming Sunday they travel to Los Angeles to face arguably a top 3 team in the Rams. Back to back losses potentially for Tampa coming up?
11. Packers: The Green Bay Packers narrowly defeated the New York Giants and it was a long game to watch. It was super stressful to start out the game especially for Packers fans as they saw their Quarterback Jordan Love leave the game early with an apparent injury. Not only that but starting running back Josh Jacobs left the game as well but for Jacobs he never returned during the contest. Malik Willis stayed out there for a couple drives and gave the New York Giants with Jameis Winston a chance. The Giants cashed in on a couple drives but then Jordan later returned to finish the job. This defense is still good and so is this team but with the injuries and the way they have been underperforming this year.
12. 49ers: The San Francisco 49ers are quietly building something here after many people (myself included) doubted their defense’s ability especially. They have lost a ton of assets through the offseason but that has not stopped them. Robert Saleh so far has redeemed himself as a defensive coordinator and with Brock Purdy back now, Kyle Shanahan has a chance now to keep this 9ers streak alive. Christian Mccaffrey had an amazing day running the rock and the Cardinals could not stand a chance against him. It was another easy win for the red and gold and for them this upcoming week, they welcome the Panthers who are coming off sweeping Atlanta.
13. Chargers: It is safe to say that Justin Herbert and the Los Angeles Chargers underperformed last week against the Jacksonville Jaguars despite them being on the road. Despite this offense’s recent success last week John Harbaugh and Herbert looked lost. Not to bash Herbert crazy or anything cause he did also leave the game with an injury at one point but later came back to finish the contest. This team yet still misses some key pieces on offense due to injury with players like star tackle Joe Alt and rookie running back Omarion Hampton. The bolts desperately need a spark and they better do it quickly because Denver has already caught up!
14. Ravens: The Baltimore Ravens had a sluggish late afternoon game against the Cleveland Browns and they demolished them. In the first half it was Dillion Gabriel starting for the Browns but no matter what quarterback could be back there for this specific game, as I said before the Baltimore Ravens have to play now as if almost every game is a “must win”. The Ravens must help their playoff chances and they might do just that. Lamar gains an easy win against a divisional opponent and the Ravens don’t even have to travel this week to get another free win as they host the New York Jets this week.
15. Panthers: The Carolina Panthers have been overachieving this year going from almost worst to the middle of the pack. Quarterback Bryce Young has had a more than solid year so far and he has looked to prove my prediction right of him taking a big step this year. It was not hard to guess because of the loaded offseason talent acquisitions they acquired including rookie Tetaroa McMillan. Young and McMillan have had an electric connection so far during the wideout’s first year and last Sunday they shocked everyone when they showed us they could sweep Atlanta.
16. Steelers: The Pittsburgh Steelers have already faced their most feared dilemma. The potential injury of veteran quarterback Aaron Rodgers. This past Sunday they faced off against the Cincinnati Bengals and in the maybe mid third quarter, it seemed as if Aaron was holding onto his non throwing hand in frustration. The Steelers still pulled off the victory over the Bengals to avoid the sweep and split with them on the year but this team still holds a lot of question marks in my eyes. This offense is nowhere near as explosive as we saw it since maybe Week 1 and this running attack could also be a little stronger. Mike Tomlin the Head coach has never had a losing season but could this year be the first?
17. Jaguars: The Jacksonville Jaguars hosted the Los Angeles Chargers this past week and they got a big home win. They are still without wideout rookie Travis Hunter as he is still out due injury and will miss at least a month. The rookie that shined in this game however was Bhayshul Tuten. He ran in for a score and had 74 rushing yards on the day and helped this offense greatly to move the chains. I like what I have seen so far from the runningback duo of Tuten and Ettienne. I still don’t expect very much when it comes to a deep playoff push with the Jaguars due to the Colts being in their division also. Even just a playoff berth would be a huge accomplishment though for first year head coach Liam Coen. Duvall!
18. Chiefs: Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs are slowly falling out of contention and for NFL fans we are certainly not used to that. After my praise for their offense, last week they were stopped short of completing the comeback against the Denver Broncos. It was a hard fought division game but I feel like teams have also figured the Chiefs out by now. Stop the explosive plays and take away as many weapons as possible for Mahomes to throw to.
19. Cowboys: The Dallas Cowboys straight up embarrassed the Las Vegas Raiders to end the week off and it was a hilarious game. On the super bright side for the Dallas Cowboys their offense exploded yet again and despite many believing the Raiders would stop the run game, it was still very strong for Williams and the Cowboys offense. This defense now has a couple studs on defense especially after acquiring edge rusher Quinnen Williams from the New York Jets via trade and you cannot forget about Donovan Ezeiruaku! This week for the Cowboys they host the Eagles at home.
20. Texans: The Houston Texans had a hard fought battle against the Tennessee Titans. Davis Mills called a game for them last week and we knew coming into this game that it would be a defensive battle mainly because of the two offenses being one of the weaker ones in the league this season. Both teams moved the ball sluggishly and it was a sort of frustrating watch. Especially for opposing quarterback Cam Ward as he lost his receiver due to injury which also made it easy for the Texans to lock their Titans offense up easily. For the Texans hopefully C.J Stroud returns soon because this week they face off against the Bills to start us off in week 12.
21. Vikings: Minnesota is in need of much improvement at the moment. More specifically their quarterback play as JJ McCarthy has looked to be playing pretty poorly these past couple of weeks. Wideout receiver Justin Jefferson had another tough week against a tough divisional opponent with the Bears but that is not to say that it was all Jefferson’s fault. I believe that McCarthy must develop better quarterback play if he wants to give his team even a chance for the NFC north title. But at this point they would be lucky to sniff the playoffs even with how strong the NFC is this season.
22. Falcons: It’s like beating a dead horse at this point talking about Atlanta’s poor coaching staff and the poor decisions they make week in and week out. They were not supposed to get swept by their divisional opponent in the Panthers but the Panthers did just that. They keep proving why they might just be the more inconsistent teams of them all. For the Falcons to somehow turn it around I would expect Bijan to put the team on his back and I know he could. However for the Falcons, it will be a steep climb up the rest of the way.
23. Dolphins: The Miami Dolphins almost managed to lose this game in Madrid but boy was it a fun watch. Tua had his comeback game of the year besides the Bills game and he redeemed himself this week. I am super confused however how Mike Mcdaniels is still the head coach of this team sometimes. But they got the win and I will not dance around “what ifs” since his magical plan of forcing the game to OT.
24. Commanders: Like I mentioned last week the season is or has been lost right now for the Commanders. With Deebo Samuel being the highlight of the offense, we have not seen a dominant game from Croskey merrit as of recent. Jayden Daniels being out changes this whole team and it’s clear. Can Mariota get them a couple wins before he potentially returns? What happens to all the veterans on this team after what was thought to be a playoff year for this team.
25. Giants: The New York Giants hosted the Green Bay Packers for a contest that was at a windy and cold Met-life. Backup quarterback Jameis Winston got the nod for the first time this season and it was not a total disaster. He did not throw an interception until the fourth quarter and kept them in the game for the most part until that 4th quarter. When opposing quarterback Jordan Love left the game due to injury the Giants cashed in a couple drives before his return and for a little bit it looked like the Giants would hang around. The new Head Coach search continues and for the G-men this week they travel to Detroit to face one of the league’s top offenses. Jaxson Dart the starting rookie quarterback should attract some names but for this year, they might be eliminated from the playoffs as soon as this week.
26. Cardinals: The Cardinals did not put up much of a fight last Sunday and their defense suffered immensley. It will be interesting to see how they accumulate more draft capital and I am surprised too that they haved not moved Kyler Murray already. The search for another win continues for Arizona and they have a decent chance as they host the Jaguars at home. I wish I had more to talk about with this team but with Marvin Harrsion Jr. standout wide receiver having a quieter season does not make it any easier also.
27. Bengals: The Bengals fell to the Steelers as I had said and their team continues to keep falling and falling apart. Wide Receiver Jamar Chase was fined greatly for spitting towards Steelers cornerback Jalen Ramsey during the contest and it was super shocking to see Ramsey not retaliate as much towards Chase. It seems as if there are weekly antics with this locker room and to be honest I am not surprised. Joey Burrow please save them. Luckily for the Bengals he has started practicing already.
28. Saints: New Orleans earned themselves a BYE week last week and had the week off. I wonder what Kellen Moore thinks of Rattler having a better chance than Shough beating the Falcons since he has played them before and has experience but I feel like it is probably too late for that. The Saints have obviously had a quieter season this year but they proved us wrong with other teams being even worse than they could be.
29. Jets: It was Justin Fields 3rd game with under 100 passing yards and maybe that’s what made new head coach Aaron Glenn make the switch to Tyrod Taylor for this next game coming up. In my humble opinion it should be obvious that no matter who is under center for this team right now, they would not be succeeding. I think it’s a similar situation for Zach Wilson with fans expecting way too much way too soon and the combination of the harsh New York City market. Fans are ruthless here on the east coast and it’s easy to understand as the Jets have the longest playoff drought in North American sports. Not just football but sports as a whole. Nonetheless the offense against the Patriots during primetime was putrid and the highspots for this team still is rookie Armand Membou and tackle Olu Fashinu. They travel to Baltimore this week and anyone could tell you, including myself, that they have little to no chance. It’s due or die for the Ravens nearly every week and I do not expect them to slouch at all against a poorly run Jets franchise. We failed Justin Fields.
30. Browns: The Browns have done the inevitable and made the switch to rookie Quarterback Shedeur Sanders. Head Coach Kevin Stefanski said he has spent extra time with Shedeur during the mornings of practice and will see how much of Sander’s hard work will pay off. I have confidence in him as he has been waiting for this moment for so long. The fact that the Browns have to travel to Vegas as well to play the team that passed on drafting Shedeur numerous times is ironic and could be a classic in the making. Wrists up and I hope you prove them wrong Sheduer! I am certainly a Browns fan this upcoming week!
31. Titans: The Titans had just as hard of a time moving the ball than the Texans. The Tennessee Titans also had the brutal injury of wideout Calvin Ridley. So now what? There are little to no weapons now for quarterback Cam Ward even less than what he had been offered before. Rough rough first season for the rookie but there was one team I think performed even worse.
32. Raiders: Whatever that game was, throw it in the trash for Geno Smith and especially for this offensive line group. Jeanty had less than 20 rushing yards on the day and the run game was completely taken away with the help of Cowboys Quinnen Williams and even Kenny Clark got in the mix as well. The weekly Geno Smith interception also came and even after the game he expressed his frustration even more. “If your kids mess up at school blame it on me” Geno Smith says. Which I thought was a hilarious moment considering he is the clear reason why the Raiders keep losing. It is terrible when you cannot convert on a 4th and one on your own half of the field, taking two sacks in a row it seemed. Rough rough week for the Raiders and they prove me right by calling them the worst team in the NFL. Free Ashton Jeanty.
