Game 2 of the NBA Finals between the New York Knicks and the San Antonio Spurs was played on Friday, June 5th. The atmosphere was not only lively in San Antonio, however, the Knicks fans were going crazy in Midtown Manhattan and all over the five boroughs of New York. Being the fact that the Knicks are a very popular and regional team, there was a watch party for Game 2 of the NBA Finals between the Knicks and Spurs at 902 Brewing Company in Jersey City, New Jersey. The atmosphere was amazing as Knicks fans and New York sports fans in general were there to root on the New York Knicks as they hoped to win their first championship since 1973. Throughout the evening, 902 Brewing Company helped support the Bob Hurley foundation. Fans were able to buy raffle tickets and secure their chance to win some cool prizes. For example, one of the prizes was a Jalen Brunson Knicks shirt. Another prize that was consumed for a lucky fan was a Knicks baseball jersey. Finally, there was a Charles Oakley signed Jersey that was auctioned off for great value. At the end of the night, thanks to the fans and the owners of 902 Brewing Company, due to revenue from raffle tickets and investments for the Bob Hurley foundation, they were able to raise about $500 for the terrific foundation. It was a very successful night and to top it all off, the New York Knicks defeated the San Antonio Spurs 105-104 to take a 2-0 series lead going into game 3 on Monday Night at Madison Square Garden. Take a look at some of the pictures from the event below:
