Monmouth Falcons were looking to get revenge against Barnegat yesterday in a big championship game live at Barnegat highschool. The Falcons have been having a inspiring, great and fantastic season this year as a team. Now it all comes to one last game to see who comes out on top and become number one. Barnegat is another tough team in the 9 U conference with talented young players and a great coaching staff. They beat the Falcons first time around but Monmouth is a much different team now improving each game. These two teams compete at a high level and what a way to finish off their season with a championship game like this.

Yesterday it was all Monmouth Falcons live at Barnegat highschool as they played great team football, changed up their game plan and got much better results against a tough team that beat them already. Both teams kept it close in the first half as it was 13-12 Monmouth Falcons at halftime with some missed few calls from the refs. The key for Falcons were to start the second half fast and strong to keep their momentum going. Thats what they did exactly scoring 22 unanswered points in third and fourth quarters. Barnegat had no answers for Monmouth with the Falcons playing on a another level as team. Shout-out to their coaching staff for keeping the players upbeat, keeping the lead and now letting Barnegat get easy plays against them.

Monmouth Falcons won this game 31-12 and becoming the 2025 9 U Champions of football. Congrats to their coaches, Patrick Kennedy, Ashleigh Kennedy, Kane Kennedy, his teammates and all the families who played a big part. What a dominant performance from this team showing that they wanted it more playing for something big and never giving up.
