Manalapan Girls Lacrosse Improves To 7-0 In Shore Conference With A Close Victory Over Freehold Township

Manalapan girls lacrosse continue to dominate the Shore Conference this season with a 10-8 victory over Freehold Township and improving to 7-0. The key players for Manasquan coming into this game was Madison Alcantara and Aryelle Stein who are both having fantastic years so far. They both had fantastic success against Freehold Township yesterday and couldn’t be stopped. Alcantara and Stein carried Manalapan on their backs the whole game while having great flow to offense. Freehold Township did a great job in this matchup Keeping it close and had chances to win.

Madison Alcantara who is a sophomore for Manalapan had an outstanding performance yesterday scoring 5 total goals and now has 24 this season already. Alcantara makes it easy on the field with speed, great instincts, finding teammates and getting open to score herself. She has 58 career goals so far with Manalapan which is unbelievable and more to come this season for Alcantara. The last few games, she has been on fire scoring goals which has helped them get to this 7-0 start. Alcantara will become a star lacrosse player as she continues to put up incredible numbers with Manalapan.

Aryelle Stein who is a freshman with Manalapan is another great young player to keep an eye on with having a fantastic game yesterday also. Stein scored 4 goals against Freehold Township as Alcantara and her combined for 9 goals total. They both had half the goals against Freehold Township as Stein now has 19 goals this season so far. She has a great IQ of the game, makes her teammates better, being on point of everything and putting up special numbers in freshman year. Stein and Alcantara has a chance to be one of the best dynamic duos in girls highschool lacrosse.

Manalapan’s next game is against Brick Memorial today at 3:45 pm eastern as they look to stay undefeated.
