What the show is about

The Joba and the Mouth airs Mondays and Thursdays from 6:45 to 10:30 PM Eastern Time, on one of the best digital radio stations in the world, World Wide Sports Radio Network. It is hosted by Errol Marks and streams live on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Twitch, IHeartRadio, TuneIn Radio, Audacy, and our website at worldwidesportsradio.com. The Joba and the Mouth is an award-winning show that interviews some of the best personalities in the sports and entertainment industry.

Who's on the show

Errol Marks

My name is Errol Marks. I’m from a small town in Long Island, NY and from a very young age I’ve always had a love for sports talk radio. Growing up, I would listen religiously to shows like Mike and the Mad Dog, Mike and Mike, and Imus in the Morning and studied what made those shows so great. I’ve made it my goal to be as influential as the hosts I grew up listening to, and with my knowledge of all major sports, enthusiastic and fearless personality, and my preparation skills, I know I can get to that level. This an art and a medium that I’m passionate about and one that I feel can never be replaced.

What makes my story so unique goes beyond my 10+ years of experience in sports media. In addition to over ten years of creating and hosting sports talk radio shows, I created the World Wide Sports Radio Network – one of the first ever digital sports radio networks – in 2012. Since the network began, we have had some of the best content in digital sports media. We have six quality shows on our network covering all sports and sports betting. I’m currently hosting the Joba and the Mouth, and you can find that show and the rest of our great shows at worldwidesportsradio.com.

Our network’s content and listenership has grown significantly year to year and, in the past year, we’ve achieved 1.6 million minutes listened on our audio stream, 3,329 hours viewed on Facebook, 1,021 hours viewed on YouTube, 1.7 million downloads on Apple Podcasts, and 906,917 plays on Spotify. While we are enjoying a continued increase in growth, I feel that we can take this to a new level and a new audience with your help.

My goal since the day I started is to become the greatest and most recognizable sports radio show host in the country. I can guarantee that nobody in this industry currently has my passion, personality or ability to shape the future of sports broadcasting and entertainment like I do.

Joba Chamberlain

Joba Chamberlain played college baseball for the Nebraska Cornhuskers before the Yankees selected him in the first round of the 2006 MLB draft. He ascended through the minor leagues and made his MLB debut in 2007 as a relief pitcher during the Yankees’ pursuit of a berth in the MLB postseason. The Yankees adhered to what became known as the “Joba Rules”, where they carefully monitored and limited his appearances. During the 2008 season, the Yankees transitioned Chamberlain to the starting rotation, and he suffered a shoulder injury later in the season. Chamberlain struggled as a starter in 2009, and was shifted back to a relief role. He signed as a free agent with the Tigers before the 2014 season, and re-signed with the Tigers for 2015, but was released during the season. He returned to MLB later in 2015 with Kansas City and pitched for Cleveland in 2016.

My name is Kyle Kloiber and I am a sports journalist and braodcaster currently working for the digital radio station World Wide Sports Radio Network based out of Nesconset, New York. I am a producer, co-host, and the primary video editor for World Wide Sports Radio Network and have also done some play-by-play broadcasting for several Long Island Elite Football events as well.

I love being a part of sports, I was always infatuated and relished watching the thrill players get from playing in big games. Always wanting to be a professional football player, it wasn’t until later on I realized the significance of sports media. As a sports broadcaster you being the individual who narrates the story behind the game, it allows viewers at home to share the same passion for the sport.

Growing up I was always a big day dreamer, I would always look ahead to the future and see myself conducting interviews with marquee athletes and even discussing breaking news for everyone around the world to appreciate. With the opportunity to work for a great sports network, I know this is where I will be able to showcase it.

My favorite sports teams are the Giants, Knicks, Yankees and big WWE fan.
