Last night during the game against Orlando Magic Draymond Green and head coach Steve Kerr got into confrontation while in a timeout. Green ended up walking to the locker room with his head down, frustrated and trying to cool off. Green came back to the bench but coach Steve Kerr wouldn’t allow him to come back in the game as they still won 120-97 at home. Golden State Warriors are a 500 team right now at 15-15 with a lot of talent still headlining Stephen Curry and Jimmy Butler. The question is do they make a impact trade at this year’s deadline to switch up the team and have a positive group.
There is one knock that Draymond Green has received over the years with Golden State is his attitude and going over board with the refs. Green sometimes worries about himself, complaining about every call, not thinking about the team in big situations and fighting with other players. The reason why Draymond is still on this roster because of toughness, longevity with Curry, Kerr and their front office. Also he is beloved by the Warriors fan every day as he helped bring championships to them. But there has to come a point where they have to make a big decision on Green and eventually make this team better.
It will be interesting to see what happens between Golden State and Draymond Green till the trade deadline. This will be a hot topic going forward in my opinion but right now it is a fluid situation. Sometimes it happens when people get into arguments in sports on the same teams, Green doing this repeatedly puts a huge question mark. They can still compete in the western conference this season even at 15-15, the warriors need to improve their team and would it include Draymond Green eventually being trade, let’s see what happens. Going to be an interesting few months leading up to the NBA trade deadline.
