Ihmir Smith-Marsette who won a Superbowl Champion with the Kansas City Chiefs brings a winning mentality on and off the field for New York Giants as he is big in the community. Marsette is from Newark New Jersey and attended Weequahic High School. He was born on August 29, 1999, in Newark. Smith-Marsette played college football at Iowa before being drafted by the Minnesota Vikings in the 5th round of the 2021 NFL Draft. Ihmir was ranked in the top 18 in New Jersey for 1 stat, top 1 in Division North II Group 1 for 6 stats, and top 1 in North Jersey Super – National Red for 6 stats. He has worked hard throughout his whole career and now giving back to his hometown which is amazing to see.

It was a fantastic turnout for Marsette’s youth football camp as the kids were working hard, having fun, learning the fundamentals of football and competing against each other. They had inflatables, ice cream truck for everyone and shirts with Ihmir on it also. This was awesome to see all the kids being outside with great coaches, learning from Marsette, playing one and one drills, making some unbelievable catches and staying focused. There was some young fantastic talent at the camp representing Newark New Jersey really well and meeting Ihmir Smith-Marsette.

After he was done with the camp, Marsette signed autograph pictures, took pictures with the kids and taking the time to speak with them also. They gave a lot of motivation to them, don’t give up, keep working at a high level, chase your dreams and thank your parents everyday also. Glad to part of this, helping out with Ihmir and good luck this season with the New York Giants.
