Former New York Knicks legend Charles Oakley made an appearance at the Woodbridge Brewing Company this weekend to sign autographs and take pictures with all the fans. Oakley was a force back in his playing days with New York Knicks as he had a fantastic NBA career. His teammates were Patrick Ewing, John Starks, Anthony Mason and point guard Mark Jackson. Starks was also at the Woodbridge Brewing Company last month. Charles Oakley has his rep with him alongside the person who runs their foundation. I had the opportunity to meet Oakley’s team that day and introducing them to my team also.
Charles Oakley was fantastic with the fans who showed up at this event on Saturday, talking with them, taking pictures and signing pictures/items. The weather was not that great but we still made it happen and was successful. Akhtar Farzaie who is one of Oakley’s rep recognized the stuff that I do in the Sports Industry as we talked about it during the event which was awesome. Farzaie also owns a pizza place called Bella Pizza in Hillsborough New Jersey. The lines ran smoothly as everyone was ready to meet Oakley at the Woodbridge Brewing Company.
We were able to do a segment with Charles Oakley at the end of this event as my friends Errol/Speedy from World Wide Sports Network, Tobias Eats, Mel, Jeremy Fishman and I got some great content with Oakley. After he did the interviews with us, Oakley ended up hanging out for a while with his team. This was another fantastic event by Woodbridge Brewing Company as they are the only place around there doing events like no other right now. Shout-Out to Rosanne Galtes, Mayor John McCormac, Mihir Thakkar, Steven Galtes and the staff of Woodbridge Brewing Company once again.
